Sudden drop in IF Rank

Not sure why the IF rank of RKC is dropping so rapidly. It was 9 or 10 last week and now it is 13. Does it have anything to do with TRPs? Whenever I visit the forum, I make sure that I give 5 stars on chaska meter. Can anyone throw some light on it.

The drop in rank has nothing to do with TRP. IF's rankings rise and fall based on a few factors:

That was expected as the activity of our forum has decreases many folds now..and IF is lazy giving us sppilers in the form of buzz articles.So the drop is pretty expected.From 7 to 9 then 10 abd now 13...if this is going on,then no wonder we will out of 20 soon.

• activity in the forum - # of new topics plus the # of replies to the older topics
• # of hits on the Chaskameter
• the # of articles per week that tag the forum

This doesn't mean though that you should spam the forum or bring up old topics in the name of raising the IF rank because that is against IF rules. But this is just a brief explanation as to what goes on in IF rankings.
