I can only assume that Anami does not want to feel an iota of sympathy for Matlabi Mataji hence she didn't react to Vatsalya's line about her 'Meri Maa mere saath hi zinda rehti hai, mere peeche bas jee rahi hoti hai'. Says a lot doesn't it about Satrupa? IMO she's the most fascinating character of them all. We have seen how happy and 'alive' she looked with Vatsalya. But why was she just 'living' otherwise? Because of her marriage? Because of her responsibilities? Because she always knew at the back of her mind that she had given her child away at birth? How can you go living normally knowing you gave her up?

That line Vatsalya wrote in the diary abou Satrupa was very significant but Anami didn't focus or reflect on it. I always wonder whilst watching this show, what would make Anami stay in the Laal Mahal once she turns 18? Am I right in assuming she can then decide what she wants to do and where she wants to live at the age of 18? In Benaras. she has her unconditionally loving family but as we all know, the story can't move anywhere if she went back for good. So would there be a time where she actually stays for her Matlabi mataji?

It does affects her & Anami do meldown a lil whenever she gets a glimpse of Vulnerable Satrupa. but she doesn't express it...Be it Satrupa-Vatsalya "Kyun Chali Gaye" moment, when Anami peeps into her room for Vatsalya room's key or this Vatsalya dairy moment. she did meldown.

you can clearly she is not having tashan/fights with Satrupa, instead she behaves so normally with satrupa (toh with some attitude) after this both scenes.

In the first scene, she not only left the room silently w/o any tashan, but also gives an explanation (which she actually won't do, esply if its with satrupa) that why she was there in her room & a;so gives a confused/concerned look.

In 2nd scene, after reading Vatsalya's dairy, there comes their argument regarding the college IV, where she didn't fights/Taunts Satrupa, instead surprisingly argued normally & also tryna make satrupa understand her point!

Im so waiting for that the moment when she actually gets to feel some affection for Satrupa or Satrupa to how some parental love to Anami, which could make Anami's pov towards satrupa to change a lil.

But i guess Anami won't feel (or) think anything abt Satrupa's feelings, until when she leaves LM. As like my Satrupa-Anami's VM's theme - i want Maa-Beti to meldown a lil before she truns 18, have some moments tryna understanding eachother & when that moment arrives where Anami will turns 18 & will be in dilemma whether to return back Banaras or stay in LM just for her matlabi Mataji..

May be even a lil separation track could make her feel for/miss her matlabi mataji a lil by then. it will be good, if CVs focus a lil more on Mom-Daughter than what they are showing rightnow.
