As for someone saying they wish Karan was a negative character etc
I bet his negativity would not be two faced
He is what he is
He doesn't play mind games and drown in his sorrow
If he loved someone , he would never get engaged to someone lose because the person he loves asked him to
Umm your wife has to spend the rest of her life with you , not the woman asking you to marry her

If Sherlin wasn't negative we would all hate Rishabh for the way he is treating her
It doesn't take away from the fact that what he did was completely unfair

Coming to Rishabh, I do feel they are making him weak and one-dimensional. I really like Manit but recently, Rishabh's character has seen no growth or interesting arcs. They don't want the audience to root for him. Could it also be related to Manit shooting for his Malayalam film?

Anyway, I want them to get to the point already which is a PreeRan marriage so I can see what storyline they have in store for Rishabh.

This is something I was thinking as well.. Maybe they're sidelining Rishabh on purpose Bcz many many people stated Rishta.. In between when he was the hero, when he saved her from the necklace drama or saved shrishti.. So I think maybe the creatives thought that before people become hardcore RishTa fans we need to stop that

As for me, i always rooted for Preeran from the beginning. Since their first scene came, i always thought they're meant to be the central romantic pair of this show with the BG music and all. Also "couples who fight each other, stay together" theme...the zee rishtey awards nominations blah blah. I had the idea of Karan-Preeta and Shrishti-Rishabh as a pair. Then came Sameer..so now i am totally clueless where the show is headed to but yes, i won't deny Rishabh's character so far has not given me any such vibes to idolize him as the male lead who'll carry the weight of the show on his shoulders. Also since yesterday's episode, it's only getting worse...while he stares at Preeta so romantically and wonders who she loves..the fact that he's engaged now keeps on playing at the back of my head. Not even for a sec, did he step back and think "Wait, i am someone's fiance". Prior to his engagement it was a different thing but now it's like making a mockery out of that bond and also his partner. Minus that...yes, Rishabh is the typical guy next door and anyone would be lucky to have him.

Guys I think some ppl are misunderstanding about the character analysis...When we say the character of rishab, they are immediately bashing karan for no reason... chota haina sablog scold him only in karan words😆

Guys this post is specifically about R's treatment of sherlyn and his drooling over preeta when he just got engaged a day back...

so please keep your posts in that perspective.. this post is not talking about R's greatness...

we are just discussing R's character in ref to sherlyn... viewers know sherlyn is bad but R does not know it yet...

My point being so much for being the "perfect guy
He is said to be the one with morals and ethics , blah blah blah
But this is a major screw up for his character
Maybe it's foreshadowing how his love for Preeta will make him do things out of his character

• Giving gyan to karan that he cares about preeta the most .. mind you in front of his entire family.. it was little short of declaration of love.. when he just got engaged to sherlyn
