I completely agree with you on how Annika should have a life on her own. It's important for any woman (and man) to have their own identity.
But on your other takes. No, i don't agree, sorry!
Shivika and TejVi are very different from each other. Yes, Shivaay and Tej are businessmen and they tend to bend their morals in order too succeed. They have (had) their shade of grey.
BUT Shivaay is a familyman. He is the great wall of Shivaay - he would go to any extent to protect his family - Annika (and Sahil) is a part of his family. The chances of him having a mistress is equal to the chances of him giving Rudra's place in his life to someone else - Abhay maybe? - or someone else. Do you think that is possible?
Annika and Janvi both are kind hearted and sacrificing - who love their family and love their respective husband unconditionally.
BUT Annika is not weak and having her tough childhood in mind i don't think she can ever fall weak. She has always been able to stand against Shivaay and I don't think that's ever gonna change.
Today she was not begging Shivaay for the truth but she is demanding it from him because she is able to read him - his eyes. Like she said to Om, his eyes identified her at the temple itself yet he is refusing to acknowledge it. She realizes that he is in BIG problem and wants to help - her self respect is pretty intact if you ask me. Put yourself in her position for a sek, wouldn't you help you husband to get out of the mess? I would if i was sure there is something seriously wrong.
For me Shivaay and Annika are two equals in their relationship unlike TejVis' were Tej is the dominating one.
What Tejvi share and what shivika share - both are very different. I'm sure Tej loved Janvi but i don't think you can compare it to the love Shivaay has for Annika or vice versa. They took a bullet for each other. They can sense each other. They can go to any extent to protect each other. They can not live without each other - Maybe Annika but Shivaay can't. That was clear during the seperation track.
Of course with time things do change which MIGHT have happened in TejVis' case - or maybe there were some other issues - i don't know much about their relationship so can't say. BUT i do know, if the love you share is weak then it fades away with time.
Shivikas love is very strong, they have always found their ways back to each other. I can't imagine Shivaay ever being disrespectful towards Annika - his wife and the mother of his children - in 15 or 50 years for that matter.
So no, they are not similar in my opinion. 😊
