Sigh ! I once got badly bashed in the EDT for pointing out that how similar Shivika are with Tejvie , it's like they're parallel couples . So this time I'm attempting to do so outside of it , so made this lame post in the MF .😆

I also said later Shivika marriage may get as dysfunctional as Tejvi if Annika doesn't start putting her foot down time to time from the early days of their marriage and doesn't repeat the mistake Janvie did , which is sacrificing her life other than just married life and career .

I wanted her to have a life outside of Shivaay's , pyar karo tut ke koi gila sikwa nehi , but .. doesn't make your love story your entire biography . Have education, job, hobbies , friend's group, social activities - whatever suits you , but have it by all means.

I so wanted a conversation between Janvie and Annika , with Janvie gently guiding her and opening her eyes , about the necessity of having a life outside of OM and outside of marriage and husband and kids , for the health of the marriage itself !

But I guess I crossed the line by saying that what if Shivaay have a mistress 15 yrs down the line . 😆 Even Tejvi had a very much love marriage . And I do believe Tej always loved Janvie very much , or else he could've just divorced her long back. ( Plz note I'm talking about IB Tej, not DBO Tej. Lolz, I can't recognize DBO Om or Tej. ) .

Tejvi marriage went wrong after 15 yrs of their marriage ( that was the time since when Tej started having a mistress ). Time is actually the biggest fire test for any relationship , it says the relationship that withstood the blow of time is the solid one. Who knows where'll Shivika be 15 yrs down the line.

Because sorry to say , muje lakhshan kuch thik nehi lag rahe hai . Yeah may be because I'm a Shivaay basher (? ) lolz.

Sab kuch achha ho to achha hi hai..

Today's episode had me gritting my teeth and literally shaking my head in despair . Why was I wasting my precious time supporting a girl who would never choose her self respect over her marriage / love life ?? Since when self -respect becomes synonymous to ego ??

Why not just maintain a dignified yet watchful distance if she doesn't want to leave the house but stay there and support Shivaay ?? She's not even in the position of his wife currently , yep she and I both know he's faking and all that shit , but still !

All these is leaving a very bad taste in my mouth.

Can any one just tell me that I'm wrong ?? This niggling thought with Shivika becoming Tejvie one day , with Annika becoming co-dependent like Janvie is pressing on my mind. 🤔

Even the CVs may be conscious and aware of these growing similarities. Since may be this whole exactly Tej -Peter Swami track got rebooted with Shivika with Shivaay faking to not recognize Annika under blackmail ??

You are putting too much time logic n effort into this . If you have analyzed so much you should already know that similarities are bcos the writer cannot come up with anything new for new generation of obros vs the older one .

For me as of Friday go to hell all of you ... making a mockery of marriage , relationships, characters , social causes n sensitive topics all under the guise of Naari Shakti reducing the female to nothingness until the ML decides to romance the hell out of FL to suit their own needs be it family drama or the so called inspiration touch go n use as u please .

Then discard n get on to their high horse of moral code with an attitude . They are all so ******up .

So yes similarities n all i for once do not care anymore . But if I have to say it Shivika might go there but not to the extremes like Tej n jahnvi.

+1. As much as I hate to think of comparing my favorite couple to Tejhvi I've to agree everything you said.

Both the couples have sharp resemblance. While Jhanvi and Annika are independent and strong before marriage but post marriage turned out to be total doormats. Shivaay and Tej tho kya kahana both are sauve businessman with lot of gals waiting at their disposal.So hell down the line their marriage is bound have destruction like Tejvi. Very sad to c how they are treating Shivika as a couple and individually. Even more saddest part our fandom are encouring this bullshit CVs are throwing at us

SSO tadi , I want to literally shout at the person who are asking to bring it back.. Their SSO tadi =Annika's continuous torture. & humiliation. Earlier it was digestable bcoz he is not in love with Annika just strong attraction but now tho he is in love uttered many majestic vows still..Oh no how can I forgot SSO fan gals said .."Shivaay can't see tears in Annikas eyes.." my foot ..What does he think she will jump into joy when she sees him flashing another woman as wife.

Sometimes I feel he can sacrifice her not just for his brothers/family even for his new found rakhi sister as well. He was able to withhold seeing her getting humiliated, shattered and crying but not to inquire about G today which totally gave away his facade.What to conclude with this?

At the end Shivaay and Tej don't think twice to hurt their partners when their own priorities are questioned..For Shivaay his family (minus Annika) and Tej for what ever we saw till now his own selfish happiness.

Annika is a strong woman look she is not crying in the corner. Hell strong woman gets upset and catches the collar of her hubby for this kind of stunt and mainly doesn't allow any other gal in their personal space/bedroom. Not like doing some random comedy and serving drinks to other woman. I wonder why fandom is calling the other gal chipkali.. the tag has to go to Annika . And yes this is coming from Annikaz loyalist fan.I really want her to show some anger and even better keep him at bay after this drama unfolds.Anyway they want to stall SR right what better than show this . But who am I kidding did we ever get a sensible track post separation.

I might not agree with everything you said but there is one point that I strongly agree with.

Love should never be all consuming and your life should never begin and end with it. Annika and Gauri needs to have other interests than being just wives of successful men. I am lauding Gauri for taking English lessons. She is doing something that is going to better her future. Annika should really go back to her work. She was independent before and there is no reason for her to stop working now that she is in love and marriage. Love should give you wings to fly. Love that ties you down is not healthy and eventually kills the relationship.

the reason u got bashed on edt...is that u r accusing Shivaay of the one thing that he does perfectly...he's committed to his relations...and he fulfills his responsibilities well...his first priority is family...and he always puts his family over his own wishes...whilst tej's priority was & always will be business...

tell me one incident that tej did whatever he did out of love...and then tell me one incident were shivaay did something for HIMSELF or for his bussiness only sacrificing his family in the process

look at tej's relations...neither he has a good relationship with his brother nor his mother nor his wife (and those who knew him during the "Shivaay phase" of his life if u r willing to call it that)

then look at shivaay...he earned everyone's respect at home that he once had a right to decide of Prinku would get married or not...that like mahi said (whatever happens everyone says "ask shivaay" despite having elders at home)

having many women around (despite it being ridiculous) never came out of lust...i can't say the same about tej

coming to annika...calling her a jhanvi is a huge insult (specially since u r an annika team)

Annika isn't there in OM despite believing that shivaay is actually with Tanya...annika is still there cause she knows he's lying

Jhanvi was sure her husband was with someone else...yet she stayed and drank herself to death

what's keeping annika there isn't just her love...but her trust...remember that an Annika stopped trying to win shivaay when she thought he was with nagini...i can't say that jhanvi left after knowing tej has a mistress did she?

Rikara can be the future Shinky...(gauri fans don't get offended...think of initial epis pinky...she wasn't a villain)

i am sure Rikara fans would be insulted by this...and they should be because i am sure they'll give 1000 reasons to tell u y they're not like this...

it's heartbreaking to see u accuse shivaay of becoming a man whose bussiness and ownself cmes before family...or accuse annika of not having the courage to walk out even when her trust is broken

This is very well written and I agree with every single bit of it. The similarity between tejvi and shivika is that both relationships consist of a powerful man and an independent woman but that is where the similarity ends. Tej and shivaay are completely different people in terms of their thinking and values. Annika and jhanvi are quite different in terms of how they handle situations. And making assumptions that shivaay will become tej in 15 years and possibly have a mistress with drunk annika clinging to him is just foolish especially when it's made mostly based on shivaay's behavior in 2 episodes of a track which just began.

Very rightly said. Though they showed Gauri's intent to take the English lessons is different we should laud her for the attempt to better herself. The way they are showing Shivika lovestory will eventually turns up as toxic relationship. Shivaay has priorities other than Annika so should Annika. I really am fan of Annika supported her during separation & even renuion track too but sorry the way they are showing here is a complete no no from me.
