The reason Season 1 worked with the heartlands of India, was the adherence to the Lucknowi culture.
If we just looked at the accents in that show, every character spoke in a different dialect, Nani was different to Buaji was different to Joanpuri Mamiji, and Mamji toh had a totally different accent to everyone else. And SHYAM everyone conveniently forgets SHYAM who was the Blood and heart of that Show IMO, Shyam's hindi was like Honey, UFFF !!! And that show wasn't even a Hindu social.
