Is hotstar only online or is it on some tv channel?

How does someone get hotstar?

FYI

I spoke to ATN and was told that Star Plus "pulled out of Canada!"

I believe that there's more to the story that what ATN said but I am not about to frustrate myself anymore over this! No matter what the reasons are, both ATN and Star Plus owe the Canadian pubic an explanation . This is the utmost in disrespect to any entire country! Bearing in mind that we have paid for a specific service and they cancelled it without providing us with options before forcing &TV down on us.

I have cancelled the Desi package with Rogers and I have subscribed to Hotstar. They do not have subtitles but I only watch 2 shows so I will manage the translation via the written updates.i refuse to have any further dealings with ATN.

On a positive note, I will now learn more of the language by just listening to it rather than reading along with the subtitles.

Truly said. Only reason I was sticking with ATn was star plus. But this abrupt news is quite unprofessional on both ATn n star plus end. I guess I will have buy iptv box subscription now.

In Canada you can get the App via ITunes or go to ca.hotstar.com. It is $12.99 /month plus taxes and they are offering 1 free month.

So far am pleased with their content. The soaps do not have subtitles yet but some of the web series do and they have a decent number of movies with subtitles!
