I am in awe with this show. In this story I feel all characters are like leaves from the same tree caught in a wind, some of them rustle, some tumble and some fall; some of these leaves are dry, some ripened, some just tender and how they react to the wind of life is so different! These characters are above the typical idea of right and wrong. All are flawed and that is the beauty of it. I like that element of realism in it.

Loved yesterday's episode for multiple reasons. It actually gave a lot of depth and layers to so many characters.

Vatsalya

Wow! This young soul knew the pulse of the people in LM. He saw what is there beneath their skin and that too beyond a superficial level. He lived their pain and drowned in it with words.

Anami

She wants answers as all of her existence and life was always an unanswered question. The knowledge and feeling of being abandoned is not an easy one to live with.

She seeks answers from everyone and tries to decipher it, the scene where Narottam was tested by Anami was the proof for it and she reads Vatsalya's diary also in the hope of finding meaning.

The only person from whom she is not ready to hear an answer or understand it at the moment is her mother Satrupa, that is the reason she was quite oblivious to the pain of Satrupa in the diary of her twin brother. Still somewhere I felt Anami was trying to decode the questions of her mother to bade miyaan. I don't know if it is just me or was she affected by her mother's question that whether her Daadaji would have meted out same judgement to her brother, I felt Anami was trying to read in between the lines of the gender nuance there.

After the test she demanded answers from Narottam and he gave it after some persuasion. His truth was so difficult for her to hear because she knows the feeling of being abandoned despite having a lovely family around. Narottam gave answer to her for a few questions: 1) How he actually became effeminate? 2) Why he was pushed to the edge of being a confused soul about his gender identity? and 3) When he was thrown to the darkness?. Now the questions that will arise in her mind is who did it and what Narottam became after that. Who will be more easy for her to find out. But what he became would not be easy to solve as he is constantly adapting and evolving according to the people around him and in the final 'what Narottam becomes', I feel Anami will have a great part to play.

Then her equation with Adhiraj is that of ease, if you remember she even heard his accusations without much protest and she herself never gave him true answers and do not expect him to do so. In her view Adhiraj was posing a question and giving answer at the same time and this actually happened after her test of Narottam and she got her answers for his duality (both effeminate and masculine attributes). She was not ready for answers or questions pertaining to Narottam because the truth that she heard will take time to digest and she can't chew more before it gets registered.

Narottam

Narottam is an enigma. He reveals himself in bits and pieces to all. His circumstances had taught him to be guarded. He knew that he was taught to be effeminate to banish him from becoming the heir to the throne. He knows by the rule of inheritance in LM he is actually the rightful heir to all that. Injustice was served to him for no mistakes of his own and you cannot expect a heavily tortured soul to be all happy and see the beauty of life. Vatsalya despite being the apple of the LMwaasis eyes felt that it is a colorless butterfly. Yes he is trying to manipulate Anami for his mother but by this he is sharing teeny weeny bits of his broken pieces with her and an unseen bond might develop.

Adhiraj

I am not sure whether he has actually accepted Anami as the real daughter of the house or not. For sure he is concerned about her well being and is ready to give her advice whether she asks for it or not. Somewhere Adhiraj can sense the bond growing between Anami and Narottam and hence he was hesitant to reveal his judgment. There is definitely such a breezy camaraderie between Anami and Adhiraj despite the storms around them.

Baldev

Baldev was explored bit more yesterday and we can clearly see the apathy he has for Dheeru and Satrupa. So from yesterday's bit we know that Bade Miyaan has never acknowledged his Chotte Miyaan ever worthy of anything. It was 'Dheeru' who took all the limelight and accolades at first and this might have led Baldev walk into the arms of Sudha for respite. Then he was banished from the throne and pushed to get into a knot which cannot be untangled with Satrupa. Satrupa becoming the laayak beti of the house would have added to the wound of Baldev. He tried to eliminate 'Dheeru' and succeeded in it but Satrupa was too strong a shackle to get rid of. From the look of it Baldev is the prey of great expectations.

Satrupa

She knows the gender bias of her father in law and she rightly questions it once again. Time and again she has revealed the difference of being a woman and man in the LM clan. Now she is not involved in the business as actively as before and is busy preparing her daughter to be ready to take the reins of LM and Royal Steel. This lapse from Satrupa might cost her dearly and we already saw a glimpse of some Royal Steel representative on gun point.

Dheeru

He is still very much in the game of thrones and we saw this when the fourth trustee was forcefully taken away. Will he be a surprise element to all the people in LM and even his kids is something to be revealed.

Dadaaji

He is slowly revealing the archetypal feudal mind set by showing the gender bias he has in matters of inheritance and business. He does not disregard talent and hard work you can see this from the way he spoke highly of Dheeru yesterday and also the status he had given to Satrupa in the matters of the business and LM. But as Satrupa pointed out earlier I think all the hard workers and talented lot will be given the post of the guardians of the throne and not the throne itself. Throne is reserved for the dignified, royal male heir and if they did anything less worthy than the unspoken dignified code of conduct like Baldev then they will be banished.

Yesterday's episode gave so many answers in my view.
