Let me just go through once again why we all wanted and we deserved a truly grand remarriage of Shivika.
1. During their first marriage , tbh , Shivika leads hai aur ek dusre ke liye bane hai is liye hum uss shadi ko shadi mante bhi hai , but was it even fit to be called a marriage ?? What difference was there between Suman's forced marriage situation ?? If Suman would've got married to the umar mein baap se bhi bade dulha wouldn't we as well as law immediately disqualify and annul this marriage because it was done under force or black mail ??
By same logic , that 1st wedding was rightfully not even a wedding .
2. Annika was not the bride to begin with. It was Tia . All the rituals were done with Tia as the bride for Shivaay , with huge grandeur and aplomb , in front of the whole world . Annika was just the wedding planner.
Even after Tia ran away , Annika was never the choice . Which means , not only she was not the Plan A , she was not the plan B . She was absolutely the rock bottom choice .
Even when the marriage happened , the whole world knew it was Shivaay- Tia getting married , and later during reception it was confirmed to the world that it was indeed so.
She was just a temporary replacement.
3. She was under extreme duress , was traumatized , worried about her brother's safety and heart broken that this is happening with her , she's becoming ek din ke dulhaan , that too behind the veil only.
For some one for whom marriage with it's rituals mean so much , it must be living a nightmare.
So yeah , Shivika and specially Annika doesn't only deserve another wedding , they need one .
And why not a grand wedding ?? Why a simple one as many are saying now ?? Let's face it, those fans who're saying they;d rather it was a simple marriage in a temple , would they've said the same thing if the wedding arrangements and costumes were truly grand the way it was during Shivaay-Tia marriage TWICE ???
So , are they saying Annika , since she's just Annika , doesn't deserve a Grand one , befitting the Obrois standard , rather she deserves a 2 Rps. one ??? Ouch
Just because the CVs and PH are letting us down big time , doesn't mean we should fool ourselves into believing that this is what we wanted - a simple marriage.
Remember Annika's dialogs during separation day , when she took severe digs at the small scale of arrangements that doesn't befit Oberoi standard ?? ( Yeah yeah she was saying it all to rile him up because of Pinky's black mailing , trust me I know that . But still isn't it curious that whatever she said rang out with a vehemence of truth ? ) .
Let's also remember that Shivaay promised that Annika will get a Grand wedding . Is this the grand wedding they were talking about !
Jitna chaddar ho, insaan ko utna hi pau phailana chahiye .. Agar aukad aur hasiyat nehi hai grand wedding dene ki , to Shivaay ke muh se aise dialog dilane ki jarurat kya thi ?? They could've made them have a simple temple wedding , or home wedding , the day after their reunion . The impact , the momentum would've been much better , because we wouldn't have gotten fed up and tired of waiting for months with half cooked or uncooked filler tracks , made up BS rasams , lame challenges , OOC behavior of characters etc. etc.
Now , after months of towing as along under the false promise of Grand Shivika Wedding , we're getting 2 days of randomness. Pathetically rushed real rituals with old phatichad clothes , no proper family scene , no grandeur , random people coming and going , endless promotion at the cost of Shivika , half the cast missing . Unhappy Omru.. it's just a disaster !
When the entire cast were present , they gave us random fillers for months , and now they're like , " Kuch bhi dikha ke Shadi khatam karo because we've different priorities with ramdom new guy and new show , that must be launched using Shivika popularity."
The dress that Annika was wearing on her so-called-grand wedding , was .. I can't even find adjectives bad enough to describe the horror that was dress . Wow !
Tia had an entire designer wardrobe with literally hundreds of designer clothes and designer fitting them to her demands and fittings and likings .
And when it came to Annika , she has to worry about having nothing to wear for the rituals and her won wedding ! *Speechless *🤢 Oberois have gone bank rupt I guess !
Shivaay gonna wear black for both Mehendi and Shadi ! Double wow !!!👏 A color that is considered hugely inauspicious in both Hindu and Sikh weddings ! Let alone bride or groom , even guests and relatives are discouraged from wearing it .
After color co ordinating them during both Shivaay-Tia marriage , when it came to their own marriage , Shivika are not color co-ordinated !😲 One is wearing golden- teal and another copper- Black with black Safah ! Eww.Itni hideous costume to mein SS se bhi umeed nehi ki thi.
When did Annika buy ring for Shivaay ?? Or did it magically appear the way Saahil did ??
Instead of the pathetic village track and Chunri rasam in jail , couldn't they've shown the would=be bride going for wedding shopping with Gauri ??
Ek din mein jail wala FTW Chunri rasam , Paani wala engagement , and Mehendi!!! Like , can any one tell this poor hapless aghast viewer that is moi , why the hell so much hurry all on a sudden ?? Koi flight chut rahi hai kya ??
Ab itna sab kuch ek din mein de diya to baki bacha kucha rasam aur shadi bhi usi din nipta ke humari OMM kar do na CVs ! Please ? We deserve this for sticking with your "master piece " for such a long time !
P.S. I'm gonna skip this disaster wedding , and convince myself that Shivika are a live -in couple ( Sorry , I can't consider their 1st marriage as marriage ! No woman could after seeing the extenuating situation Ani went through . )
