OK, so I haven't seen the episode yet...will watch it later when I am in a better mood to appreciate things and I am probably going to like it seeing as how there were some really nice scenes. But are we really looking to appreciate standalone episodes or waiting to appreciate the tracks?
What was the point of getting our hopes up with 'Shivika ki shaadi abhi baaki hai' and 'Annika deserves her dream wedding' when it all had to come down to this? Shaadi will happen...hopefully without any disturbances...and I am sure we'll get some nice Shivika moments too...but half the fun is gone.
After so much of dragging in the past few weeks, it's all looking rushed and half-baked. The wedding could have happened immediately when all the actors were available and we could have jumped to other tracks after that. All that was needed was a quick wedding with all family members presents. After that you could have focused on Rikara track, Ruvya track and the 20 other tracks that you have going and could have handled those tracks better. There was no need for anything elaborate for the wedding as we are not getting it anyway from the looks of it.
Shaadi date was changed from 7 days to 2 days. Why?
Why couldn't we have had different outfits...anything but black. Nobody wears black at wedding. Have some respect for basic customs at least. I don't even want to comment on the 'Bride's look. There was no need for the 'Jail track' and you could have given Suman's wedding dress to Annika, which is more tasteful.
Shivika are having rasams in police station without Rudy, Jahnvi and Pinky. I don't care for Pinky but why leave out Rudy and Jahnvi?
What explanation is given for the absence middle bahu and honewali bahu? Poor Shrenu is sick. She cannot and should not be shooting...but some excuse could be given for her absence. Is there really a Rikara scene that was scrapped today?...when it could have filled her absence? Bhavya promised to be ladkewali and practically became a sister to Shivaay for the functions. Now she's gone and no one cares. All these could have been avoided if the wedding was done earlier instead of dragging.
Why bring 'new entries' and promote them when the shaadi itself is not being promoted and all the leads are being subjected to randomness?
Bottomline is, we didn't ask for a wedding. Shivika are still married and there was no need for another one...especially when you can't do justice to it. Hum aise hi khush the.
This wedding could have been a TRP booster but no promotion was done and looking at the state of things, it would have sunk further with promotions because TRP audience would not have liked it.
