This is what happened when u sign slb movie in negative role their is no way he will show khilji great or looks better then his. Man who is playing lover. And public was saying shahid playing supporting now things are clear khilji poster will be worst in all they will show him scary men this is firs time. Actor who is playing negative he will look even scary he will not get any song he will get every thing in last I can see ranveer turning sunny deol after padmavati. Like sunny blaming yash chopra how he made srk role great despite sunny was lead history will repeat with ranveer their is no way he will get any attention after slb treating shahid like he us uper then him ranveer need this reality check he was trusting adi chopra and slb they will do any experiment with him will be good slb first adi now slb. 😆

I dont get it. Khilji was a through and through negative character. One of the main reasons I am looking forward to this movie is because Ranveer's portrayal as the monster, actually that's the main reason. Take Khilji out of Padmavati, it's same as any other historical love saga like Jodha Akbar, why would anyone want to see that again?


Did you really expect SLB to paint Khilji as the hero or good man ? My bad He is a thorough negative character and rather I HOPE SLB doesnt try to whitewash him in any way.

Ab galat cheezon pe hope karogi toh yehi hoga na. He is playing the antagonist in the movie, you just have to accept this reality, living in denial will only kill ur hopes everyday.

but the thread starter has a point there..who will feature in all songs ? either deepika alone or duet with shahid .. now thats going to occupy lot of screen time and atleast fifty percent of audience will feel shahid is the hero..

In fact you should pray that SLB doesn't make a hotch potch of Khilji's character and show him as an out and out antagonist like he was supposed to be in real life!

If khilji was negative it not means heshould looks or should be shown by face also ugly or scary and yes songs matters it is IMO if he haosongs in moviehen he is use less in movie even. In darr srk got songso

unless the role is really well written ranveer might end up the looser here..

How will Ranveer end up a loser? Regardless of whether he is playing the hero or villain, he gets to show his versatility. Actors like SRK, Akshaye Khanna, Ajay Devgan, Saif Ali Khan, Sanjay Dutt were highly appreciated for the villainous roles they played. Pretty much in every instance, when a hero has played the villain in a movie, he has been given more accolades than the hero of the movie. Same case many times for actresses such as PC and Kajol.

In the end all that matters is whether Ranveer will do justice to the material given to him. If he does well the audience and critics will notice it regardless of how much screen time he has, or how many songs he appears in or if he is the lead or not. Same goes for Shahid and DP.
