" Gauri ... Ghar par kisi ko moorthi aur dangal ke baare mein kuch mat batana ... Sab pareshan ho jaaenge" Omkara explained to Gauri while she was hardly paying any attention ... Everyone was happy to see Gauri and Om back. The air was of celebration, the mood of enjoyment ... She chose to change her direction and climb the stairs ... Dadi was quite tensed seeing her limping in pain and called for her twice but she did not want to turn ... And when Om started to shout her name, she had already disappeared.
" Kya badtameezi hain yeh Gauri ... Dadi ne awaaz di thi tumhe ... Sunaai nahi diya kya? " Omkara pushed open the door of their room and asked her trying to control his temper seeing her carelessly throw all her clothes in the big suitcase she had brought with her when she came in Oberoi mansion as GAURI OMKARA SINGH OBEROI ...
" Ghar jaa rahe hain hum. " Gauri said to him coldly ... Now throwing all her bangles and earrings in the suitcase.
" Kya keh rahi ho tum Gauri yeh bhi toh tumhara hi ghar hain. " Omkara was irritated seeing her behave aloof since the last three hours.
" Humme apni maa ke paas ... Apne ghar Bareilly Jana hain. " Gauri said avoiding eye contact with him before she immediately wiped a tear almost brimming in her eye. Omkara was surprised to hear her 'I-AM-GOING-TO-BAREILLY' statement again. He tried to say something but she raised her palm to shut him up.
" Theek hain Gauri main maa ke pass jaane se nahi rokunga tumhe lekin hum abhi toh wapas aaye hai , tumhe kitni chot bhi lagi hain ... Abhi neeche chalo aur hum moorti sthapna ki Pooja karlete hain phir tum theek se khana khaao aur aaraam Karo ... Kal chali jana. " Omkara's tone was the most polite of a request.
" Hum aapke saath aakar Shankar ji aur Parvati ji ki Pooja nahi karenge, yeh Haq sirf aur sirf aapki biwi ka hain! " Gauri clarified looking straight into his eyes.

" Gauri tried hard to free herself from his hold, tears welling up in her eyes. Omkara understood that she must be talking about the Dhaba incident.
"Par tumhi ne toh kaha thha ke tum iss ghar ki bahu ho ..." Omkara tried starting a conversation to do some heart break repair.
" Iss ghar ki bahu bhi wahi ladki bann sakti hain jisse aap patni ka darja de ... Samjhe aap! Aur hum toh aapke kuch lagte hi nahi hain ... Behtar hoga asp humme apne aap se durr jaane de. " Gauri could not do anything but helplessly cry.
" Kya tumhe itna dard aur takleef dene ke baad ... Mujhe itna Haq hai ke main tumhe apni biwi keh saku? Bataao Gauri does a broken and angsty man like me deserve a wife like you? " Omkara cupped her face.
" Filhaal toh yahi humaari zindagi ka sach bankar reh gaya hain ke hum aapki biwi hain aur aap humme apnana nahi chahte, humse pyaar karne ki koshish bhi nahi Karna chahte. " Gauri struggled to speak as words choked up in her throat.
" Tumhe nahi pata Gauri jab tumhe Zara si bhi kharoch aati hain tab mera dil kitna ghabra jata hain, jab tumhaari aakhon mein aansu aate hain tab mera dil tut jata hain aur jab tum baar baar char chhodkar Bareilly waapas jaane ki baat karti ho toh ek pal ke liye jaan chali jaati hain meri ... Kuch nahi pata tum he!" Omkara held her wrists.
" Hum sab jaante hain Omkaraji ... Lekin aap humme yeh bataaiye ke aapne uss dhaabe waale ke saamne aise baat kyon ki ... Humme toh laga ke asp bhool jaaenge ke hummari shaadi KO saath mahine hue hain lekin aap toh humaari shaadi hi bhool gaye ... Bohot galat kiya aapne. " Gauri said stepping back to close her suite case
Omkara knew that he had made a horrible idiotic mistake and now he was preparing himself to make up for it but why did he behave like that? Was she supposed to know his phobia of commitment? Was she supposed to realize his repentence? Was she supposed to understand that the responsibilities of a marriage scare every nerve of him?
" I am sorry. " He spoke in a firm tone with a lowered head.
" Jhoot nahi kahenge aapse, aapne humaari shaadi ka apmaan kiya aur phirse humara dil dukhaya aur iss baar hum aapko maaf nahi Karna chahte. " Gauri spoke half heartedly.
" Hum maa ke pass jaa rahe hain, aapka intezaar karenge lekin sirf ek hafte tak ... Agar aapko shaadi ka asli matlab samajh mein aa jaaye toh theek hain nahi toh aap khushi khushi bhool sakte hain ke Gauri Kumari Sharma aapki zindagi ka hissa hain. " Gauri sounded so strong.
Omkara understood her pain and trouble after all he was the very reason for it ... She had every right to be angry with him, seeing her now he understood the gravity of his words spoken at the dhaba ... He walked towards his cupboard to get some shirts and Kurtas and then kept it in the bag Gauri was packing. She gave him a questioning look.
" Agar itna lamba safar taiy karna hi hain ... Toh saathme karte hain. " Omkara walked to Gauri to caress her cheek and a sudden smile appeared on Gauri's face ... She knew him ... She knew there was more to what he just said ... She was genuinely desperate to hear something like this from his side ... Actually wanting him to speak something ... Anything.
" Aap humaare saath Bareilly aaenge? " She asked ... A part of her sincerely hopeful and a part of her very much ready to listen to something contrary which she thought he will say. He simply nodded a 'YES'
" Gauri tumne humaare rishte ko banane aur bachane ke liye bohot jatan kiye hain ... Ab ek imaandaar koshish main bhi Karna chahta hoon ... Tumhe khudse durr bardasht kar Sakta hoon main lekin khudse alag nahi. " He said with finalty. Gauri had anticipated his escapism, his reluctance and his annoyance but his effort now made her so happy ...
" I am sorry uss waqt dhaabe par jo hua ... Nahi hona chahiye thha ... Mujhe tumhaare baare mein waise baat nahi karni chahiye thhi ... Please maaf kardo. " Omkara said again and embraced her.

" Achha suno ...". Om asked scratching his brow. Gauri blinked her eyes.
" Please yeh Saree aur blouse change Karo ... You know this is backless ... Hmm ... Erm Erm ..." Gauri understood his possessive streak but wanted to tease him a little.
" Hum kya iss saree mein achhe nahi lag rahe Omkaraji. " Gauri chirped at her best innocent act.
" Arree Nahi ... Aise Nahi woh main ... Woh hum ... Woh Aise kaise ... Woh ... Kuch Nahi! " Omkara fumbled and Gauri chuckled ...
