He did same during initial Apurva Asrani controversy. He'll be back later. Not ideal response but I respect it far far more than lashing out at all the criticism, denying the poor response, whining about BW conspiracy against the film, or pleading for people to watch as some paid accounts are doing.

I am far from a twitter expert so don't know ins and outs. All I know is around that time I googled Hansel Mehta twitter and tweets with that ID (@mehtahansel) showed up (on google search page) but if I clicked on it, Twitter said user did not exist (same message as now).

People can deactivate their accounts temporarily. It doesn't necessarily mean that they deleted it permanently. Especially in the case of attention seekers lol.
