Well there is no smoke without fire, so the blinds and rumors of Krithi didn't came out for no reason with SRK but I highly doubt that big producers or directors like Rohit Shetty and Sajid Nadiadwala gave her work without any compromise and she came from the south, heard those industries in the south has much more casting couches going on than BW and actresses that comes from the south usually have to go through lot of casting couches to make big in BW, only actresses that never had to go through casting couches r the one that came from powerful filmi family like Kareena, Sonam, Sonakshi or Alia but most of the actresses probably had to go through casting couch at least once even if they r star kid.
I guess it makes for a much more interesting read that some actress had to experience casting couch in Bollywood than say she never faced it. So many girls were auditioned for Heropanti but not even one suited the role. Sabir spotted her on TV and asked his assistant to find out who the girl is. They found she was from Delhi and was busy with another film which didn't take off. That's how she landed Heropanti. The film was to start within a week or two and they had not finalised the girl. I doubt that the director had the luxury to put her through a casting couch when their project could've faced delays had they not signed anyone for the heroines role. She did a couple of look tests and scenes with Tiger and was finalised. Also shes done a film with Mahesh Babu, numerous ads and ramp walks. She wasn't a nobody just landing on the film set.
