They have given up now. Too many other avenues for news, gossip etc. I-F has failed to keep up and change itself with times. They just want to keep cashing in on the extra revenue but don't want to invest it back to make it a better place. I give I-F two years before it's completely bites the dust.

This is unique platform and can stay relevant for few more years . People come here to discuss shows and other stuff . It is more personalized than gossip portals and Twitter .
It can survive , but needs lot of revamping and investment.

Boards aside, there aren't as many members to particpate on forums as there were say even 2 years ago.
This forum was buzzing 2 years ago, despite the nuisances. Now courtesy a certain bunch who complained to Vijay to enforce silly rules and mods here, is jagah mein woh baat nahin rahin.

That bunch who complained to Vijay on the Global announcement thread are akin to Cercei bringing in the High Sparrow for her own benefit, now the whole forum has to suffer cos of High Sparrows' heavy and overzealous regulating that has killed what little spark this place had.
