Hi everybody. I am writing in this forum after a few months. I had become a silent reader, as I was caught up in my trip and then school events and exams. This is my second time writing fanfiction, and this time I wrote an OS. Please read and comment.
(Its the day when sona found out about her second pregnancy. She decides to take an interesting approach to tell Dev, as she has only told Ishwari till now.)
"Maa, main Dev ko bataane ke liye bahut excited hoon, par yeh samajh nahi aa raha main use kaise bataaun...", Sona paced up and down with a confused look on her face.
Ishwari frowned,"Jaake seedha seedha bata de na. Itna kya sochna?"
"Par maa, main wo boring type wife nahin hoon. Thodi creativity se bataaungi, thoda style se bataaungi. Mujhe uska confused expression dekhne ke baad realisation wala expression dekhna hai", Sona said with a cute sad face.
Ishwari was perplexed, " Mere zamaane mein to saare baatein seedhe seedhe kee jaati thi. Maine dev ke papa ko kitni baar bataaya hai. Har baar yunhi ek vaakya mein bolti thi. Pata nahi aajkal ke bacche kaise naye naye ideas nikaalte hai" and with this she walked away.
Sona understood that Ishwari would not be of any help in this matter. After mulling over ideas for some hours, and downing two cups of coffee, a plan made its way into her mind.
(In the bedroom)
"Yeh lo, Dev. Main tumhaare liye coffee laayi hoon", Sona said, holding out a coffee mug.
"Waah, Mrs. Dixit tum mere liye coffee kabse laane lagi?"
"Kyun, main mere husband ke liye itna to kar hi sakti hoon", Sona sweetly replied.
"Ok Thank you wifey"
"Ab jaldi jaldi pee jaao. Fast!"
"Shaant raho, coffee hai. Dheere dheere pee loonga"
As Sona stood there watching him, she was clearly getting impatient.
"Arrey tum aise kya dekh rahi ho?"
"Kitne slowly coffee peete ho. Jaldi karo naa"
Dev was slightly confused, " Itni bhi kya harbad? Yeh lo ho gaya khatam. Happy?"
" Acche se check kar lo khatam toh ho gaya na", was Sona's reply.
"Check kar loon? Yeh coffee mug hai ya office document? Tumhe aaj raat kya ho gaya hai Sonakshi?", Dev was muudled.
" Jaldi se check karo", Sona insisted.
Dev peeked into the cup, feeling a little silly. " Kuch bhi nahin hai"
Sona gasped, " Kuch bhi nahi hai?" She snatched the cup from Dev and peeked in too. " Oh, God! Toh kahaan gaya?"
Dev was now convinced that Sona was going mad. " Kaisi baatein kar rahi ho? Pait mein gaya aur kahaan?"
Sona just glanced at him then hurried out of the room,coffee mug in her hand, heading for the kitchen. Poor Dev was left confused!
DK was standing in the kitchen, finishing up with the dishes. "Dk!", Sona called, " Kya tumne yeh cup ko kuch kiya tha?"
Dk turned around, " Oh haan maam. Iss par kuch toh paint jaisa laga tha, angrezi mein shaayad kuch likha tha. Par koi baat nahin ma'am, maine toh ise poori tarah se shaabaashi se saaf kar diya", he said with a proud look on his face.
"Oho! Poora plan bigaad diya. Agli baar kuch bhi kaam pooch kar karna", Sona instructed.
"Theek hai maam, waise kya plan tha?", Dk was being nosy.
" Kuch nahin."
"Accha maam, main baaki bartan saaf kar loon?"
" Toh karo naa, kaun rok raha hai?", Sona was annoyed by Dk.
" Arrey maam, aapne hi toh bola, har kaam pooch kar karne ke liye", Dk said, and he was not even kidding.
Sona thought in her mind, " Yeh nahin sudhrega" and she just walked out.
Sona had painted on the mug in beautiful letters " You are going to be a dad again! " and left it to dry. She wanted Dev to see it after finishing his coffee. Sona realised that it was her fault. She should have kept it somewhere safe or at least checked it before filling it. Dk had ruined her plans, but Sona would not stop there. She had just the perfect idea!
(Next morning, Breakfast table)
Dev is sitting and eating. Sona is serving food to all. Suhana comes there, dressed in a casual t-shirt and shorts, with a jacket covering her top. " Good morning everyone!", she said with a cheerful face. " Suhana yeh kya pehna hai? Aapko school jaana hai naa?", Dev asked.
" Nahin papa, aaj to holiday hai. Waise meri new shirt dekhi?" And with that she pulled off her jacket, revealing a blue top. Dev just glanced at it, not bothering to read what was written on it.
"Acchi hai Soha" he said as he continued his breakfast.
"Theek se padh lo naa papa!", Soha said.
Dev glanced up again. He read the words, slowly muttering them" Only child...expiring in 9 Monthsss!" and at this his bored expression slowly turned into an ecstatic one as the realisation dawned on him. "Iska matlab..." And he looked at Sona.
She nodded, with a beautiful smile that spoke a million words, and tears of joy in her eyes. He leaped up from his chair and at lightning speed caught Sona in a tight embrace, and then planted a gentle kiss on her forehead, and then on both her cheeks, and moved his lips closer to hers when he suddenly remembered that Ishwari, Ex-GKB, mamaji and Suhana were all intently watching. Anyway,at that momment, nobody noticed ( except Suhana, who giggled naughtily ) because everybody was overjoyed that another blessing would soon join their family. Iss pariwaar mein phir aane waala tha ek nanha sa barqat.
