Well, it's quirky Ranveer Singh who will now be the face of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited.

Says a source, "HPCL was looking for someone with whom the youth can connect with instantly and who better than Ranveer Singh. His vibrant personality is adored by all and he is truly someone who can be the face of the brand.

Adds the source, "Ranveer came on board immediately and has been shooting forthe brand's retail products since the last few days in Mumbai.

Ranveer Singh is also a face of multiple brands like Durex, Thums Up and Vivo Phones among others.

On the professional front, Ranveer is currently wrapping up the final leg of Padmavati, which also stars Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is a perfectionist and we had recently told you that the star was slapped 24 times for a scene. It so happened that Bhansali was not happy with the first take and Raza Murad slapped Ranveer 24 times to get it right.

The film will hit theatres on November 17.

Besides this, the actor will also be seen in Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy which will star Alia Bhatt opposite her. It is a coming-of-age film inspired by two real-life rappers from Mumbai's chawls-Rapper Divine and Rapper Naezy. The actor will play one of the rappers.
