^^^ of course I've noticed that ARR isn't as active as before. I feel the pinch of it as I miss his music direction the most. But I always thought he didn't WANT to work so much anymore that's why he has reduced the amount of work. Disagree with you on 3 idiots though. The music was memorable for me. Irrespective, I don't see him using Sonu the way he did before. And I'm not saying this because I'm his fan. It's just that some songs had so obviously Sonu written all over it that I wondered why. Initially I thought it was because they had some kind of a fall out as call what you may but Sonu can be obnoxious. But then that song - o saibo- I think the duet with Shreya which Mohit Chauhan sang and also agar tum saath ho too.. maybe it's because of whatever the royalty issues are going on people were categorically told not to work with him. I see the same with SEL or Pritam. It's an obvious loss and I think all of us feel it.

Be it in the department of lyrics or composition or vocals. All of us say it too ki aj kal music ko Kya ho Gaya hain? Just the other day I was speaking to a friend of mine and she like ' I used to love Channa mereya but now whenever it come I change the channel. So many of us have stopped listening to new music coz it just sounds like pots and pans. The dearth of new music is shocking. Most of them are old remixes or the same love ballads.

Rehman and sonu were not on good term when sonu rejected rehman offer of a song which had double meaning n vulgar lyrics . Rehman last work with sonu was in 2010

almost every singer these days has a contract with t series or zee

i wonder what happens to those who dont like say arjit doesn't need to have a contract at this stage right,he is singing almost evry song do the companies decide or music director decide who the singer is?? what is the issue excatly????

Arijit is contracted to t-series. He signed that contract in 2015 when most were refusing. Mohit Chauhan also signed one his royalties and dubbed many of Sonu's songs in the process. I remember reading it in one of Aadesh Shrivastava interview.
