One side Naira, a girl who misunderstood her mother. A girl who ran away. A girl who met her mother, only to loose her a year later. She lost seven precious years that she could have spend with her mother, seven years in which she could have made even more treasure worthy moments, but she lost it all because of her misunderstanding, and know her mother is no more.
Now I feel that Naira is scared that Karthik may commit the same mistake, that he may also loose a lot in this stubbornness.
The other end Karthik, a boy who has seen his mother suffer. A boy who remembers his mother being for them, putting his and his sister's head in her lap, at bedtime. No part of his memories, testify to his mother having any sort of mental illness making him believe that this another false story of Mr. Goenka and his wife. Then the moment Karthik ask Naira why doesn't she trust him, if she love's him. That desperation in his voice, desperate that somebody believes him and sees his side of the story.
