It was such a long and hectic day for me. I wanted nothing but some free time for myself to take my mind off this fatigue and stress. And what could be a better stress buster than Ishqbaaaz? My excitement level was such that I Literally turned my laptop on without even changing my clothes and totally forgot about how badly I was starving half an hour ago.
Started off watching the episode with an idiotic grin which royally took its leave after about 8 mins. I started shaking my legs and knitted my eyebrows together, hoping against hope that the episode would pick up its pace and be back on track. AND GUESS WHAT Y'all!! 20 mins into the episode and I felt like smashing a glass on my head. 😳 I mean, what a gorgeous cow poop it was man, I'm stupefied 👏

Slammed my laptop shut in frustration But when I cooled down, and ate (which provided some strength to my brain to think rationally), what I realized was how just the mere absence of this man named Lalit Mohan took the life out of Ishqbaaaz! I mean, I always praise Gul and Harneet, their extraordinary thinking when it comes to the plot, characters and growth of relationships, we all admire Nakuul and Surbhi to an incomprehensible extent, literally loose our hearts to their to-die-for attitudes, complement their humbleness and salute to their devotion to their work. But I personally never gave too much importance to the director. But now that he's away, I feel like Ishqbaaaz has touched some next level stupidity with absolutely no flow between the scenes, horrible pace, BS acting (I'm sorry I didn't like Nakuul today, he was someone else, neither billuji nor SSO), and awful execution. Legit, my head started spinning watching the episode.
The reason I have made this post is not for any bashing purpose but to appreciate this man behind the camera who gives such precise instructions and directs every crew of Ishqbaaaz to give their best foot forward, forces them to reflect their highest potential in the form of acting and executes every single episode with such perfection. It is not enough just to have an amazing producer, fabulous writer, powerful plot, and dedicated and talented actors. The execution of the episodes is equally important which Lalit Mohan Sir oh-so-devotedly completes. I don't know about others but I, for one, have never thought the person behind the camera could have such powerful impact in every bits and pieces of a successful episode. And I would feel extremely guilty if I hadn't done my appreciation job for this man.
So Lalit Mohan sir,
Salute to you, you gem! Ishqbaaaz is NOTHING without you.
Also, those of us who are concerned about IB, it's plot, Shivika's relationship, please do not worry. I hadn't been disappointed with their 'Chawl' Sequence because I really felt like it was a very crucial scene that showed how Shivay who had always mocked and looked down upon Middle class people's lifestyle was embracing one of the impossibilities in his list, WHICH is making the foundation of Shivika's bond even stronger, as well as, they are getting some space to make those little confessions (how they confessed they had made their imperfect life perfect with their mere presence), that I felt was extremely necessary at such high time. Anyway, but those of you who are worried, the recent spoilers must be very uplifting for you since the wedding rituals seem to have started (?) with TejVi's return. And what could be a better news for us than to know that the most significant episodes of IB (Wedding) will be directed and edited by Lalit Mohan sir!!! 🥳
We should all take a chill pill and buckle up for the grand wedding that's on our way! 🤗 Cheers, y'all!
