CHAPTER 128 Written by Shabs
Sidharth stood at the door, and turned slowly to look at a scared and baffled Roshni. His heart pounded crazily against his chest, seeing this sight.
He felt as if his heart would jump out of his chest at any moment.
Her eyes echoed her fear. She was panting heavily, which was breaking Sidharth heart. He didn't know what to do.
Both looked at each other. Although there was silence. They understood what the others eyes were trying to say. They were soul mates. .. Two bodies... but one soul.
Both understood that language of silence.
Her eyes echoed the fear of being alone..her whole body trembled. Sidharth could sense the fear in her eyes, she was on the verge of crying. Frightened and scared
"Sidharth...I'm scared...without you...how will I"
"Sssh Roshni. ..you'll never be without me...never.."..
"But...what. .if"
"Relax Baby...Mein hoon na. .you trust me nah ..."
"I trust you Sidharth. .."
"Then believe that I'll be back...I promise you that. ." He smiled slightly and winked...even though his heart ached leaving her alone...
He felt he was struggling to keep Roshni safe. He felt as if he was leaving his Roshni in darkness...Her smile was lost and there was nothing he could do about it
She gave a slight smile, wiping away her tears...before she turned her face away...unable to watch him go.
"I'm so sorry Roshni. ...I'm so sorry...
Please God...show me a some miracle. ..Roshni ko kaise chod ke jaon...I can't leave her..."
He continued Praying to God...
"Please God...koi miracle dikha doh...kuch toh karo boss. Koi miracle shirakle koi jaadu shaadu dikha doh"
Sidharth wiped away his tears and closed his eyes..tight. Taking a deep breath.. he stepped out of the house
"Sid. ..where are you going" Asked Rita, as she returned from her jog
Sidharth eyes popped open. .He couldn't believe is luck...
There she was in the flesh...His key back into the house.
"Thank you God. ..Thank you. Rita ki kya timing hai..maan gaye Boss. Amazing.." he smiled at his thoughts
Sidharth quickly wiped away his smile and replaced it with a very upset face and a sad smile
"Acting shuru karlo Sid beta..." he said under his breath
"Sid...where are you going" asked Rita again, placing a hand on his shoulder
"Rita...actually I'm leaving. . "
Rita expression changed to shock
"Leaving!!!!"
Sidharth nodded his head slightly "hmmm " He replied innocently
"But Why... What happened. Did we do something to offend you"
"No. ..no. Not at all. You have been the perfect host. It's just that. ..." he stopped his sentence midway
"Just what Sid" asked a worried Rita
"No. ..nothing. ...forget it" he sighed
"No...tell me...what's bothering you Sid"
"I...I...just leave it nah Rita" he stretched the matter further
"Sid...are you hiding something from me..."
"No...not at all...I just...I..."
"Sid...you can tell me...what's the matter?"
Sidharth made a unhappy face...
"I don't think Dev likes my presence in the house..."
Rita furrowed her eyebrows
"Dev doesn't like your presence...matlab??What makes you think that...?"
"Actually Rita...He asked me indirectly to leave. " Sidharth replied...putting on the cutest puppy face he could.
Sidharth watched her for a moment waiting for some sort of an reaction...but nothing
Sidharth stood still ...waiting...hoping..for sympathy
"Arre..why isn't she reacting...why isn't she stopping me..." he thought
Sidharth waited a few minutes...
"Okay then...bye...and thank you for everything" he said as he took her into an embrace
"You are a wonderful person Rita...but I have over stayed my welcome
I probably need to get back home...
Even though I'm allergic to paint...but it's okbyou dont need to worry..." he said coming out of the hug
"Its ok...I'll be ill for a couple of days...but I'll handle it..." he sighed heavily
Sidharth stared at Rita...as she gave him a blank look back
"Haad hai yaar..." He thought as he reluctantly made his way to his car
"Itni aachi acting Maine kiya...I deserve an Oscar for it...but...this Rita..shes so dumb yaar...kya karu...kya karu" he stressed as he opened the door of his car
"Sid Wait!" Called out Rita
Sidharth closed his eyes
"Finally..." Sidharth whispered excitedly under his breath, as he turned back...with a sad expression plastered on his face again
"Jee"
Rita walked up to him...and took his bag
"You're not going anywhere...Come with me" she insisted..pulling his arm
"But...but what about Dev" pouted Sidharth
"Leave Dev to me...come" she replied as she draaged back a smiling Sidharth...
"I'm too Good" whispered Sidharth
INSIDE DEV HOME
"Dev!!...Dev!!!! DEVVV!!!!" screamed Rita...as she entered the house
Roshni who was lying in her bed crying...suddenly got up
"What's up with Rita...why is she shouting ??..." She thought...
She got up and made her way towards the screaming. .
As she reached the top of the stairs, she couldn't believe the sight in front of her
Roshni stood on top of the stairs... rubbing her eyes several times..as she couldn't believe what she was witnessing
"Sidharth " She whispered "you came back!" a huge smile appeared on her face
Sidharth looked up at her..And found her staring down at him, with all the love in this world...
Both shared a momentary eye-lock...as Roshni couldn't stop smiling.
Sidharth stared at her beautiful face. She was utterly beautiful. Completely perfect in every physical way possible. Her long silky hair, her lushly shaped lips..that he so desperately wanted to kiss there and then.
Her chocolate brown eyes...But what captivated his heart was her innocence, her purity.
Her lashes fluttered unconsciously as she stared happily back at him
Sidhath winked at her...
"Told you nah... I'm not going anywhere" his eyes spoke and Roshni understood
"DEV!!!!...Dev!!" continued Rita yelling..breaking Sidni eye lock
Dev stepped out of the study...
"What's the hell wrong with you Rita...why are you..." his sentence was left stranded...as he saw Sidharth back in the house...smiling like a Cheshire cat
"What the Hell is he doing here??"
Rita let go of Sidharth hand and made her way towards Dev
"Why did you ask...Sid to leave the house" she questioned firmly
"Actually Rita Darling. ...Roshni was not comfortable with Mr Khurana presence. ...So...I...I..."
"So you asked him to leave..."
"Yes Darling"
"Listen Dev. ...let me make myself very clear. ..Sid is my guest...and I don't give a Damn what Roshni feels...If she doesn't like his presence. . then she is more than welcome to leave. .."
"Look Rita" inturrupted Dev
"No you look Honey. ...You are not the Boss here...In fact this house belongs to me remember! !!...so I make the decisions around here...Not you"
"But Rita"
"No Buts do you get that...and stay in your limits...next time you decide to take a decision...Make sure I approve of it first..." Rita hissed
Sidharth couldn't help but smirk...and decided to have a little more fun
"Rita. ..Please. ..I...I don't want to be the reason for you and Dev fighting...I'll leave..." he said faking a hurt reaction..and began to leave
Rita held his hand
"I said you are not going anywhere. ...and I mean it Sid"
"But!"
"No buts ...its final!"
Sidharth look at Rita..and nodded his head innocently
"If you insist Rita. ..you are such a sweetheart"
"Awww Sid. .believe me the pleasure us all mine" she winked
"Rita...look Honey" Dev tried to intervene
"I don't want to look okay Dev. .. This discussion is now over..."
Roshni couldn't help but smile. ..which did not go unnoticed by Dev...as his gaze shifted towards her. He
clenched his wrists tightly in snger
Rita looked at him with a fierce look in her eyes and Dev retreated back to his study...annoyed of the change in circumstances. ..
Rita turned back and gave a side smile to Sidharth
"There all settled Honey"
Sidharth smiled back
"Thank you Rita...I don't know how I can ever repay you for your kindness"
Rita eyed him from top to bottom. ..making Sidharth nervous
"Ooo I'm sure I'll think of a way" she said coming closer, and snaking her hands around his neck
Sidharth gulped hard, as his gaze shifted to Roshni, whose smile had disappeared...and stood frowning
"Dyaan. ..Chudail. ..phir churu ho gaye" cursed Roshni
Sidharth could almost feel the heat of Roshni anger oozing out of her eyes
"Aaj toh mera murder pakka...Roshni ke haathon se..aaj tu gaya beta!!" he gulped as he looked back at Rita
"Ah. ..ah. .Woh. ..mein..." Sidharth could barely get himself to say anything, as Rita began to play with his shirt buttons
Sidharth stepped back. ...
"I...I...need to go and...ah...ah...unpack"
Rita was in no mood to letting him off that easily. ...and she slowly began to close the gap between them...as Sidharth stepped back
"You know Sid...you are the most alluring, most enticing and most handsome man I have ever met...In my entire life"
"R. ...R. ..really" Sidharth swallowed hard..as he looked on innocently...
"Don't you think honey...you should thank me properly" she whispered as she came closer.
"Huh..." replied Sidharth looking back to where Roshni was...but she was gone
"I...I...I...need to...ah"
Rita ignored his words, and came closer, until Sidharth banged into the wall...behind him.
Sidharth looked back at the wall and tugged at his lower lip with his teeth unconsciously. ..Whilst Rita lowered her eyes and smiled.
She put her hands on either sides, making Sidharth jump a little out of place
Rita leaned in and nibbled at his ear lobes
"How about a proper thank you Sid..For letting you stay.."
Sidharth shivered..."oh god save my izzat. Kahan paas gaya.."
Rita slowly began to lean in.
Sidharth took a deep breath...and tried to lean back as far as possible. ...when his phone began to buzz
"Oh. .my phone...excuse me for a minute" Sidharth said as he let out a sigh of relief
Rita continued to encage him
"Go ahead Honey...I'll wait" she said mouthing a kiss at him
Sidharth gave a slight smile as he looked at his mobile
"Roshni" he picked up the phone...
"Hmmm. ...hello" he answered as he looked up...and there was... His Sherni. ...ready to pounce. .at the top of the stairs
"That Chudail...dayan. ..is about to kiss you...and you are just standing there..."
"N. ..N. ...no...I...I...was"
"Bohat maza aa raha hai nah HONEY!!!..."
"N. ..N...no. ..its..not like that..."
"Really...well Mr Husband Jee. ..I will count to three...and you better get away from Rita ..OR ELSE...do you get that" her tone threatening
"Ah. ..huh. .."
"ONE..."
Sidharth looked back...at Rita who had started playing with his hair
"TWO!!!!!"
"Uh. .."
"THR..."
"Excuse me Rita. ..This call is very important..." he whimpered as he ran as fast as he could
Rita looked at him ran and smiled "he's so cute..."
ROSHNI BEDROOM
Dev entered her room without knocking and walked up to her
"What do you want" asked a startled Roshni
"I've tried to be nice to you, and this is what I get"
"I...I...don't understand" replied Roshni nervously
"I saw the look in your eyes...and that smile when Mr Khurana returned back...you were happy to see him...weren't you?"
Roshni looked him straight in the eye...
"Listen to me very carefully Roshni dear ..no matter how many fantasies you have of Sidharth. .. you will always be mine. ...get that through your head. " his voice was cold and hurtful as he leaned in closer to her ear.
He bit down on her earlobe, before grabbing her arm harshly, as she let out a cry
"Your mine...mine...and only mine" He slowly let go of her arm "Don't ever piss me off...or I'll ruin Kritkha and that Khurana name"
Roshni jerked him away...With sudden rage
"Don't you ever threaten me again Dev Saxena. ..." Roshni hissed with anger
"And never ever touch me again. ...do you get that..."
Dev looked at her...shocked at her new found confidence
"How dare you..." scolded Dev
"No how dare you!!!!. ...I have listened to every order you have thrown at me...But i will not allow you to bully me anymore... Stay in your limits Dev...or else. "
"Or else what" hissed Dev
Roshni looked away...trying to get a grip on her anger..knowing that it could backfire on her. ..
"Just leave me alone...Please go away. ...I am not in the mood to talk to you right now"
It was if her anger was in taking over her rational thinking...
Dev frowned as he stepped back...startled my Roshni behaviour. ...but at the moment, he needed her to stay under his control...He was pushing her too hard...and he felt he would loose her...
"Okay. ..relax. ...I'm going. We will talk later...when you're in a better mood"
Dev left hurriedly. ...trying to understand what had gotten over Roshni
Roshni let out a deep breath
"Arre...what's the Hell wrongbwith me...Did I do right. ...I hope I haven't spoilt anything"
