Part 24
Ishita shifted a bit and made place for Raman ,he too settled beside ishru and rounded his hands around Ishita ,she too rested her head on his shoulder and spoke " haan an bataao ,what you want to know about me ".
R- everything .
I- ok everything then listen I m Ishita iyer ,I lost my parents long ago when I was about 15 years old , then my akka and jiju ,shravan's parents took care of me and my necessity. Jeeju's mother was paralyzed ,I had seen how much difficulty my akka faces to take care of her ,that time only I decided to be a physiotherapist .Jeeju was too happy with my decision ,he got me admitted in one of the best physiotherapy college ," father muller medical college Mangalore ." At first jeeju helped me financially then I started getting scholarships, I completed my studies and became a physiotherapist but unfortunately till I complete my studies ,jeeju's mother passed away .
R- ohh that's bad ,then .
I- then jeeju's company got a huge contract in dehradoon and he was given the opportunity to head the contract.As it was a long contract of about two years ,we all shifted to dehradoon ,there Shravu got admitted in his school while I shifted to Delhi as dehradun don't had much scope in my field ,here I came and join one of the best physiotherapist, worked under him for one and half year , when one day I got the news that akka and jiju died in a car accident ,I went there and did last rights of them ,after that I took shravan responsibility on me as akka and jiju had done lot for me . But subbu didn't wanted to take responsibility of Shravu then I atlast broke the alliance.
R- who subbu .
I- subbu was my fiance ,he was jiju's cousin brother ,we met in a function st jeeju's house ,there he liked me and asked for marriage ,he was well settled so jeeju to fixed my marriage with him .
but later I denied marrying him because he didn't wanted any baggage at the time of marriage, may be for his Shravu is baggage but I cannot leave him ,he was my baby moreover akka and jiju had done so much for me that I couldn't left him ,so finally I and subbu parted after that I decided that I won't marry as I thought that every man would like subbu but finally I met you ,who accepted Shravu as your own son.
R- its not me who accepted you two but I would say you people thought me worth it to accept me and my kids in your life .
I(angrily)- Raman you always do this , they are not mine or yours but ours .
R(pulling her into him )- achcha baba our kids ,now tell me did you loved subbu .
I- umm jealous haan .
R- thoda sa.
I- no it was an arrange marriage which broke after my akka and jeeju's death .
R- had you ever loved anybody.
I(after thinking for while )- yeah.
Raman face fell listening to this ,he anyhow gathered courage and asked ". whom".
Ishita smiled a bit and spoke " he was my biology teacher in class 12 ,shekhar sir ".
Raman made a dirty face listening to her and asked making faces " isshh ishita you were in this love and affairs from your childhood .".
Ishita smiled and spoke " abhi bad I hasi aa rahi hai ,you face was like a big kaddu some moments back when I told that I loved someone ."
R- haan to I can feel bad .
I- (pulling his cheeks)- you know you look like ruhi when you pout like this .
R(blushing )- kuch bhi .
I- no its true .
Raman pulled her more into him and both talked for some more after that they slept , talking to each other .Next morning all went back to their work . Ishita was sitting in her cabin , attending her patient when her old patient "Sagar Bansal " a man in his late twenties arrieved with his father .She smiled fully looking to Sagar as he was also not able to walk after a severe car accident and ishita was treating him . Now he is fully cured and can walk ,so ishita greeted him with a wide smiling as he has come to her walking on his own . She told them to settle in the chair and start asking questions to Sagar ,as now how is he feeling ,did his legs shiver on walking or not ,did he had pain or not when sagar's fatger Mr Anoop Bansal spoke " its all because of you Dr ishita .if you wouldn't be there I think my son would not be able to walk .I m very much thankful to you ,I don't know how can I return your favor ".
I- that's not needed ,I m a doctor and has performed my duties .you will pay me for it so there is no need to thank me .
Mr Bansal. - I know its your duty but then also I m very much thankful to you as you had treated my son with great zeal ,not every doctor do that .
I- you people understand my effort and cane here to thank me that's more than enough for me .Thanks a lot for your nice gesture .
Mr Bansal - actually Dr iyer I wanted to talk to you something more .
I - haan boliye .
Mr Bansal- are you married .
I- no ,not yet but...
Mr Bansal (didn't let her complete)- that's nice,actually me and sagar's mother both like you a lot and yesterday itself we came to know that Sagar too likes you ,so I was thinking to make you as our daughter in law . I will talk to your parents later but before that I wanted to talk to you before .
I- that's what I was saying ,I m not married but is engaged and will get married very soon .Its nice that you considered me suitable for your son but I m so sorry ,I couldn't help you in this .
Sagar- that's nice shaadi fix hui hai ,hui to nahi you broke that alliance and marry me .
I(getting angry )- what's this ,I m talking to you politely and you are ordering me , I told you na I can't marry you now leave and please don't try to come again ,I m very happy with my life .
Sagar- (coming closer to her )- aisa kya hai usme Jo mujhe nahi hai, I m smart ,handsome ,rich aur kya chahiye tum ladkiyon ko.
I(looking towards his father )- please take him away either I have to call police .
S- you just wait and watch ,how dare you rejected me .
I(angrily )- sir are you taking him away or should I call police .
Mr Bansal dragged his son and went from there while ishita sat on her chair ,though she was shouting on him but she was really scared from inside .She still was shivering due to anger and fear ,that's when her phone buzzed ,she saw the number and picked it after composing herself as it was Raman's call.She picked the call and spoke meekly" hello ".
R- hi ,seems you are very busy .
I- no ,nahi to ,why are you saying this .
R- you took so much time to pick my call thats why .
I- nothing like that ,you tell are you busy .
R- yeah actually I had a very important meeting now but after that I m free ,you tell why did you asked .
I- no ,actually I thought that we should meet .
R- you thought that we should meet ,I m impressed doc. , tabiyat to theek hai na ,nahi to you are always busy in kids .
I- (bit irritatedly )- you tell me can you meet me or not .
R- haan baba ,I m always free for you but tell me why are you sounding so tense ,is something wrong .
I- nothing like that but I wanna meet you .
R- ok will be waiting for you at lunch ,at don't have your lunch we will have together and yes ,tell mihika to see ruhi today so that we can have our dinner , talking about ourself.
I- ok, will try .
R- don't try but do,I know you never try and just say will try .
I- bola na will try .
R- ok bye ,Chalo got to go ,meet you at afternoon .
Saying so he hung the call and left for meeting .Ishita called mihika and told her to take care of ruhi as she has some important work ,mihika agreed . After two hours ishita,went to Raman's office ,he was already waiting for her ,ordering her favorite Italian food . She asked the receptionist about him and she informed that he is waiting for her only . She entered his cabin and found him talking to someone over phone ,he hung the call noticing her .He got from his place and walked to her ,she smiled meekly and spoke " I liked this gesture of yours ."
R- come sit ,now tell what you wanted to talk to me .
I- at first you tell me ,why are you looking so tense .
R- nothing just business tension ,you tell .
Ishita became silent ,she was trying to speak but as if words were not coming out from her mouth ,she was fidgeting the corner of her dupptta and was practicing in mind to speak ,when Ram an kept his hands on her either shoulder,she saw him while he pressed his eyes to assure her to go ahead . She tried for sometimes and then finally told him everything which happened in her clinic ,she hugged Raman tight and spoke " Raman I m really scared of that man ,he was almost threatening me ."
R(angrily )- who was that person .
I- he is Mr Anoop Bansal's son Sagar Bansal .
R- I know them ,they are not good people ,his son is a very bad boy and is always been in news for his bad deeds ,even the accident you are taking about was done as he was totally drunk and the person whose accident he did died ,a murder case was there on him but his father saved him on the basis of his money and influence .
I(snuggling more into him )- you are scaring me Raman ,I really love you a lot and want to spend my life happily with you ,I m so scared ,kuch hoga to nahi na .
R- you relax ishita , nothing will happen ,I m there to na ,I will take care of everything .
I- aap kya karoge ,you are not bad like them .
R- but I love you a lot and will do anything to make you safe.
I- Raman hamaare bachche ,I m scared for them too .
R- Ishita baba ,don't conclude anything may be he would not think it so seriously .
I- no Raman he was threatening me .
R- you don't worry ,I will take care of that .
I- kya karoge aap .
R- don't know but can't let you go like this ,I love you a lot damn it .
Saying so he pulled him more closer to her while ishita cocooned herself in him . After a while he pulled her a bit from himself and spoke " leave it ,we will do something later ,let's have pur food ,see I have ordered Italian for you ,you liked it na ."
Ishita nodded but spoke " I don't feel like eating it now ,please don't force ".
R- for me ,see I feeding na .
Raman took a spoon full of pasta and forwarded it towards her ,she don't wanted to have it now but at the same time ,she don't want to let go off , Raman's effort like this ,so she had it unwillingly . Both were looking deep into each others eyes ,trying to make each other feel easy hut deep inside both were so scared ,as they can see their little happy family facing lots of problems .
