Bonjour Lovely Peeps.! Its Minnie here.! I am back after a long time with this new piece of writing. I know i have a TS pending & i promise to complete it as soon as i can. I had written this during the separation track but then lost it somewhere & its a ridiculously amazing co-incidence that i found it at this perfect timing of Shivika Reunion Track.😆😆 I am still not over with the Dhansoo last week of Pinky's wonderful Oh My Mata & Shivika's beautiful Reunion & those little sweet moments. Anyhu' since everything is settled now, i decided to post this here with some slight changes. I hope you guys enjoy this & would leave a few words.!😳😳

Healing Your Ravaged Soul
Shivay looked lovingly at his wife who was smiling at something Rudra has said. A smile that reached her eyes. A smile that light up his world. A smile which can bring a dead flower to life. He had waited so long to see that smile, he looked down at his laptop as his eyes teared up thinking of her state when he had found her a month and a half back in the hospital. He had gone to Life Care Hospital to meet his friend Arjun who was a doctor, a psychiatrist, precisely.
Arjun & he were very good friends in college but after college they lost touch. They had met in a restaurant where he had gone to crack a deal. It was a surprised yet pleasant meeting & he came to know that Arjun was in the city since a few months. It was then Arjun asked him to meet at lunch or dinner so they could catch up for the lost years. At first he tried to make excuses of being busy, he certainly didn't want to see anyone. He wasn't interested in any kind of social gathering or a reunion, he felt suffocated when meeting people. He had isolated himself from the outer world. For him the only thing mattered was business. He had drown himself in work after what she did to him. She had killed him from within, what left were the broken pieces which poked his heart & soul every second he was breathing. He never wanted to see her, he hated her, he told himself every time she crossed his mind, which was every nano second of his life. He never forgot her, how could he, though he had kicked her out of his house & his life but he could never remove her from his heart. She was carved in his heart so deep that even if he try to he could never rub her memories off. Why she did this to him, they were so happy together, almost perfect, then why did she had to destroy everything, he would always think as his eyes start tearing up but then the feeling of betrayal & anger would overpower his logical thinking & he would turn into the same stone which he had transformed into after her departure. So he had tried hard to deny but Arjun was also stubborn like him. He never listened to his excuses & after alot of pleadings and emotional blackmailing it was decided that the next day Shivay would pick Arjun from the hospital in lunch time & then they would go for lunch on their favorite place from college time.
Next day when Shivay entered the hospital, he felt something familiar in the air. Something which unusually soothed his soul. It was almost as if she... he immediately shook his head as the thought of her being there crossed his mind. He again started feeling angry for thinking about the girl who broke him. Who tried to break his family, who hurt his brothers. Bloody gold digger, he thought bitterly then clearing his thoughts went towards Arjun's cabin after asking the receptionist about Dr. Arjun Mehra. He was just a few steps away from Arjun's cabin when suddenly that familiar feeling becoming stronger. He turned sideways with a thudding heart towards the window of a room to see a girl with her back towards him sitting on the bed while a nurse was giving her medicines. His heart started beating loudly for some unknown reason & he felt a strong urge to see that girl. It was as if she was pulling him towards her. Just as he was about to step towards her room Arjun came from behind and took him towards his cabin saying he just need to see a case file & then they will go for lunch. As they took their seats Arjun started going through a file while still talking but he wasn't paying complete attention to his talks, his mind was still disturbed with his feelings.
Few minutes later, as they were about to stand up to go out for their lunch, a nurse came running inside saying there was an emergency. As soon as Arjun heard the room no. he ran out like a bullet train. He ran behind him not understanding Arjun's sudden behavior, he wasn't like this impulsive. As they ran outside the cabin he saw Arjun going towards the same room of that girl. There were sounds of screaming & crashing of things coming from inside the room. He curiously walked inside to see what's happening. He saw the girl screaming & throwing things at the nurses & Arjun while all were trying to calm her down. He couldn't see her face as she was still facing away from him. As the girl picked up a knife from the fruit basket and tried to attack Arjun he shouted Arjun's name but relaxed when Arjun caught her hand & twisted it behind her back & took the knife away from her. But the next moment his breath hitched when he saw the girl's face as Arjun pulled her in his arms to calm her down & turned. It was her. The same woman who was his life. Who he was still trying to forget but wasn't successful even a bit. His woman. His Life, His Annika.
He stood rooted to the spot shocked & whispered her name so low that even he himself wasn't able to hear it properly. Finally he saw her, after a whole 3 months,5 days,13 hours,9 minutes & 34 seconds. He kept looking at the scene shocked, but then she pushed Arjun away and tried to run but due to the mess created in the room a glass piece pierced her foot & she stumbled. But before she could fall Shivay ran on impulse & held her in his arms tightly. She looked up alarmingly at the person. He looked into her eyes which were empty, hollow, there wasn't even an ounce of recognition in them. But still she calmed down in his arms as though even if her eyes didn't recognize him, her heart knew him & then she suddenly became unconscious. He shook her trying to wake her up but then seeing her not responding he layed her on the bed. He couldn't understand anything. There were so many questions in his mind. What was going on there.? What was she doing there.? What had happened to her.? Why was she behaving this way? So many questions & no answer. He saw her pale figure lying lifelessly on the hospital bed. She was not that woman whom he had chucked out of his life 3 months back. She had lost weight. Her Angelic face which once upon a time was always adorned with a crimson blush now looked pale, her beautiful eyes which once had a spark in them were now dull, her once luscious lips now dry & dark. She didn't look like the Annika he knew. His heart pained at the sight of her, his eyes wide in horror at the scene he had just witnessed. That chubby, bubbly, always smiling woman was nowhere. What had happened to her.? Not being able to bear her state his eyes teared up & he fell on his knees.
Everybody present in the room were so shocked including Arjun at the happenings that they couldn't move. But then as Arjun saw him on his knees he ran & held him asking if he was alright. But he didn't hear anything, his whole being was focused on the figure lying on the bed. Arjun took him towards his cabin understanding that he must be knowing the girl not before instructing the nurse to dress her wound & take care of her. As Arjun made him sit & gave water he sat in front of him silently, giving him time to compose himself. After a while when he was looking better Arjun asked him the question which was bothering him, that if he knew the girl. Shivay not replying asked him what had happened to Annika & why was she behaving this way. Finally getting to know that the name of the girl he was treating from the past few months was Annika. He told Shivay Everything. How 3 months ago, while coming back from his late night shift his car broke down in the middle of a secluded road & when he came out of the car to look for some help he heard few voices coming from near by. It was as if someone was calling for help. As he took a few steps to look for the voice he saw two man trying to force themselves on a girl behind some bushes & she was trying to push them along with screaming for help. He immediately ran towards them & forcefully pushed the goons off her. She looked shaken, tormented. Her clothes were torn & there were bruises all over her body along with a big gash on her forehead. After a good dog fight the goons were handed over to the police. After all this when he approached the girl, he saw her trembling figure trying to hide herself somewhere. As he neared her to console her she started shivering and crying & after the energy drained out of her she fainted. He brought her to the hospital & since then she was there. Arjun told him how in these 3 months she hadn't said a word, she was always lost in some other world & seemed a living corpse. They had tried very hard to make her talk, to find about her family but she wasn't willing to say anything. They took police's help too, so they could get some information about her or her family but even they weren't successful. It was as if she didn't belong to this universe. A complete enigma. She would just sit in the bed or would stand in front of the window of her room & stare away at nothing particular. She would not let anyone near her. If anyone tries to come towards her or force for something, be it food or medicines or any other thing, she would start panicking, screaming & shouting. In those 3 months many a times she had tried to harm herself but someway or the other they would save her. She would have nightmares. Almost every night she would wake up screaming, shouting and begging. According to Arjun she was in shock. And being a psychiatrist he could tell that it wasn't just because of that night's incident, there was more to her story, but only if she was willing to say something. It took Arjun a month to make her comfortable with her. But still she would not say anything. Arjun would come to her room & talk about every random thing & she would just listen. No response from her, neither a nod, nor an eye blink, nothing, she would just stare ahead. And after getting tired of her not responding Arjun would just leave, dejected. But then next day he would come back with new hope. Today also she had a panic attack. It was always like this, everytime she would have a panic attack, she would try to harm herself or the other person & then to calm her down they would have to sedate her. But today's event shocked them all that how she calmed down in Shivay's arms. As Arjun finished his side of story, Shivay was on the verge of another breakdown. His eyes were bloodshot red, his hands clenched into fists & he looked like he wasn't breathing. He was going through the worst phase of his life, his Annika has gone through so much, she has suffered so much & he wasn't there for her. No in fact, it was all his fault. Today she was in this state because of him, if he hadn't kicked her out that day, this would not have happened. He felt like killing himself, it was like someone was drilling a hole in his heart. He felt ashamed of himself, not once he tried to look for her, to find her. If only he searched for her instead of drowning in his own sorrows. He came out of his self pity thoughts when Arjun asked him how did he know her & requested him to tell everything he knew about her so that he could help her to recover from this condition. And though feeling broken beyond anything, he told his friend everything right from the start. How he met her, how they were attracted to each other, the forced marriage, the Kapoor's fiasco, their growing understanding & then at last her betrayal. How she tried to break his family & how he threw her out of his life & house 3 months ago. Shock would be an understatement for what Arjun felt at that moment. But being a professional psychiatrist, he composed himself & joined the dots of his own story with Shivay's & they figured that Arjun met Annika the same day she was out of Oberoi Mansion. He could see that his friend was extremely guilty for what happened to Annika inspite of everything she did to him & his family. It was as if it didn't matter to him now after seeing her in this state.
After composing himself, Shivay asked about Annika's treatment & all, to which Arjun told him that Annika needs care, love & attention. She needs to feel, that she is alive & after witnessing the scene from before, it seems that he can help her. The way she reacted in his presence today & how she calmed down in his arms, it was the first time she behaved this way in the 3 months. It was as if she tried to recognize him, as if her heart called out to him. So after alot of discussion, it was decided that he would take Annika back home to OM. As Shivay completed all the formalities with Arjun's help, he came to Annika's room to see her sitting on the bed lost in thoughts. He stood there for some time trying to gauge her mood, but not getting successful he moved near her, while Arjun stood near the door in case Annika panicked. As he sat down beside her & hesitantly placed his hand on her hand Annika suddenly looked at him. He was half scared about her pushing him away like everyone else but he relaxed when she did nothing except for maintaining the eye lock with him. As if she was trying to remember him or worse trying see through him by his eyes. Arjun came by their side & gently tried explaining Annika about shivay. He told her that Shivay was her husband & he was here to take her back home & she had to go with him. Shivay & Arjun looked as Annika who was listening to Arjun turned to stare at Shivay for a whole minute then again at Arjun before looking ahead. Shivay was relieved if not very happy because she may had not said or reacted anything but the light glow he saw in her otherwise dull eyes twinkle for a second before it vanished was enough to give him hope. Hope to make her fine. Hope to bring her back to life, to him. Shivay further discussed with Arjun about the precautions he had to take with Annika in the house & how she will behave once they reached home, as the nurse got Annika ready in her previous clothes which Shivay had asked Khanna to bring once it was decided that she would go with him. He had thought that may be seeing her old things may trigger something in her, but the attempt came out futile. As they entered in the room again to see if she was ready, since Khanna was down with car, he stopped for a second. Seeing Annika in her old clothes brought back so many memories. She was looking her old self except for her face which didn't look like Annika's. Tears welled up in his eyes again but he composed himself, remembering it wasn't the time to fall weak. As she stood up from the bed & tried to walk, she stumbled again due to her injury making Shivay hold her tightly & without thinking he picked her up in his arms forgetting about her state. But as Annika stiffened in his old, he remembered about her panicking everytime anyone tries to come close, he braced himself for the worst but was surprised when Annika relaxed in his arms & rested her head on his shoulder. He looked at Arjun who smiled at him, making him return the same smile before bidding him bye & walking out from there. He settled her in the car & sat beside her & as the car made it's way to their destination. Shivay wasn't bothered even a little about his family's reaction but he couldn't help be worried about her, that how she would react seeing all the people. He tried starting a conversation with her many times but she didn't respond & kept looking out of the window.
As the car reached Oberoi Mansion & he led her out of the car & inside the house in his arms, he noticed she had started shivering & her hold on his collars tightened while her head rested on his shoulder like before & so trying to soothe her, he kissed at the top of her head. As he entered the house with her, all the family members surrounded them, having different reactions. While Dadi, Tej & Shakti were surprised seeing Annika in his arms, OmRu & Jhanvi's face displayed shocked, concern & something else which he wasn't able to comprehend. But the most loud reaction was of his mother who was literally screaming at him, asking why had he brought that low class, gold digger here. As he was about to answer her & tell her to mellow down & don't shout since he was concerned for the delicate woman in his arms, he noticed Annika's state getting worse. She had started hyperventilating & he realized she was scared, so instead of answering his mother he started shushing her to calm her down but when she didn't, he took her to the couch making her settle down he sat beside her & side hugged her while rubbing her back asking her to relax. Everyone was shocked to see her state. Gauri brought a glass of water Om took it from her immediately & went to Annika concerned yet happy to see his Bhabhi back. As he approached her & offered her water, she suddenly pushed his hand away screaming. Om staggered back shocked as the glass fell on the floor into pieces. Everyone looked baffled at her sudden violent behavior, as Annika stood up screaming & ran away limping from everyone in a distant corner of the living room. Shivay looked at OmRu who were shaken at her behavior & went to Annika & hugged her tightly, she first resisted him, but he didn't move away & rubbed her back continuously trying to soothe her. After a few minutes her screaming, crying & sobbing stopped & he realized she had slept exhausted. Sighing, he picked her up in his arms & walked towards his room gesturing his brothers to follow, while ignoring his mother's loud Oh My Matas.
Settling her on the bed in his room, he caressed her hair & pressed a light peck on her forehead. Behind him OmRu, Gauri, Bhavya & Jhanvi entered. After Shivay finished making Annika comfortable, he turned around to look at all of them staring at him concerned yet with questioning eyes, he sighed asking them to sit. As they sat Shivay narrated the whole incident from start till the reason of her this state, once he finished he looked up to see all of them in tears. Suddenly Om stood up shocking everyone & once looking at Annika left the room abruptly. Rudra too stood up & went behind Om knowing he must be feeling guilty for their beloved Bhabhi's state, followed by Gauri & Bhavya. Shivay sat their stunned at his brother's reactions, while Jhanvi placed her hand on his shoulder & told him not to worry about Om, because he must would not have been able to bear it as he is a very sensitive person. Telling him to look after Annika, she also left the room saying she will send dinner for them in the room itself, while Shivay sat there still recovering from the reactions he got from everyone. It doesn't seem like anyone was angry with Annika for what she did 3 months ago. In fact they were more concerned for her state, especially Om if he had gauged his reaction right. Why was Om behaving so hurt seeing her like this, after what Annika had said about him. Clearing his thoughts he went to sit beside Annika & kept looking at her as if he wasn't getting enough of her. Nothing mattered to him now, all what mattered was Annika. She was here with him & now he wouldn't let her go ever. He would make everything fine. He will bring his wife back. Yes she was still his wife, he hadn't filed for divorce even after signing the papers. He wasn't able to do it & now he was glad he didn't.
Shivay came out of his past memories to see his life, his Annika laughing freely as Bhavya & Rudra bickered over something silly as always. She suddenly looked at him & found him staring at her ever so lovingly & passed a 100 volt smile his way & he smiled back at her. She was his Sunshine, his reason to live, his everything. He thanked god everyday for giving him a second chance with her, for bringing her back to life, to him because without her he wouldn't have been able to live.
The journey to bring the old Annika back was very hard. It took them one and a half month to bring back the khidkitod Annika. In the start she wouldn't let anyone come near her except him & Jhanvi. Yes Jhanvi, he was also surprised by her being comfortable with Jhanvi. Maybe she felt the motherly love she craved all those years in her. She would lay her head in Jhanvi's lap while she would caress her hair & talk with her for hours when he was in office & once he would come home, Annika wouldn't leave him even for a minute, sticking with him all the time. She still had not said a word but step by step she was progressing slowly. She still wouldn't let any other family member near her, though OmRu, Gauri & Bhavya tried hard but she would everytime start panicking & they would retrive back dejectedly. But then slowly she began to address others presence too.
It all started with Rudra. It was her sixteenth day in Oberoi Mansion & Shivay had gone to Office for an urgent meeting while Jhanvi was in kitchen preparing lunch for her. Annika was in her room when Rudra entered in the room sulking, complaining about his latest break up to Shivay when he noticed it was only Annika in the room. She was startled by his sudden presence in the room. Rudra sensing this tried to go back in hastle so that his Bhabhi won't start to panic when he suddenly tripped on the carpet & fell flat on his face. He started screaming like a baby when suddenly he heard someone laughing. He looked for the source & was surprised to see his Bhabhi laughing hard clutching her stomach. He couldn't believe it. His Bhabhi was laughing. She was actually reacting to something he did. His happiness knew no bounds. He lay there on the floor smiling like an idiot, seeing his superwoman laughing so carefree, but then something happened which just blew his mind away. Annika came to him & ruffled his hair still laughing & give her hand to him to make him stand up. He was dumbfounded. His Bhabhi wasn't getting scared of him but was actually offering him her hand. Not wanting to waste the opportunity he quickly accepted her help and stood up. While Shivay who had came back from office early, Jhanvi, Om, Gauri & Bhavya stood at the door looking at the scene. Shivay was happy & relieved that Annika was finally coming out of her shell, others were just admiring them, as they felt the old AniRu bond coming back. And it was just the beginning, from there the actual progress of Annika started. As slowly Rudra bonded with her due to their past khidkitod devar-bhabhi jodi, Annika befriended with him really well. Others also took it as an opportunity & tried to come close to her with Rudra's help. Specially Om, he was trying desperately very hard to make his Bhabhi comfortable with him. And in all this, the person who was happy the most was Shivay. He had started getting glimpses of his old Annika in her. He had noticed the way she would behave around him. How she would stare at him for long when he would be working on his laptop & when he would look up she would immediately avert her gaze. How she responded to his light touches, when sometimes he would put a lock of her hair behind her ear or would peck her forhead lovingly. She would always shiver at his touch but never backed away & he was thankful for that. At least there was something which had not changed in her. Though she never talks but he knew she had recognized her Shivay. She was coming back to him but there was something which was stopping her & he needed to know what it was. She did not say anything but he could read her love for him in her eyes. He knew the journey was long but he will succeed, his heart knew it & in this journey his brothers & their betterhalves were with him & he couldn't be more grateful for that.
He came out of his thoughts when he felt a hand on his shoulder & he knew who it was. He looked up smilingly to see his wife standing beside him, he held her hand which was on his shoulder & made her sit beside him. He then took both her hands in his & kissed them lovingly yet gratefully. He couldn't thank her enough, for everything she did for him. Just to save his so called pride. Just to protect him from the hurt he would get after knowing the truth. Annika saw him looking at her with the same emotion she was habitual of seeing since the day he got to know everything. And since then, there was always this guilt & regret in his eyes. She knew why it was there. She knew he regret every moment of their past in which he hurt her & it was the same with her too. She also regretted the day she fell for Pinky's trap & hurt her Shivay, but now she wanted him to move on, to forget those horrible memories & make new & Beautiful memories together. She leaned up & kissed his eyes & cheek lovingly indicating him to not feel bad. He always thought what good he did in his life to get this pure soul, this angel in his life. After all he did with her, all the hurt he caused her, she was still with him loving him like nobody has ever loved him, protecting him from everything without letting him know about it. And he wouldn't have got to know about the sacrifice she made for him, if not for the unfortunate or maybe he could call it a fortunate day of his life. He still remembered the day when he finally got to know the truth. The very truth which broke him from within.
It had been more than a month since Annika came back to OM. He had come to Rudra's room to ask him to be with Annika as he had to attend a conference call in the study. When he reached the room he heard Om telling Rudra how guilty he felt for Annika's this state, that if only they had not supported Annika in that Sham of a drama that fateful day, all this wouldn't have happened to her. Shivay couldn't believe his ears. It was all a drama, a drama which Annika did. That means his heart was right all along. It was right to always believe that Annika did all this for a reason, but his good for nothing anger ruined his sense of thinking & his life. Not being able to take it anymore he entered the room & confronted both his brothers who were shocked to see him there. After alot of scolding for not telling him the truth, arguments, persuasions & even begging from Shivay when his brothers were not ready to tell him the truth saying they had swore on Bhabhi that they wouldn't tell him anything, he started to turn back dejected when suddenly his Badi Ma entered the room who was standing at the door for sometime witnessing the whole scene. Jhanvi said she will tell him everything. He was more shocked that even his Badi Ma knew everything. He started thinking what was the secret that every body in the house knew except him, even though it was his life which got ruined & he didn't even know the reason. As OmRu tried to stop her, he glared at them in return, while Jhanvi told them that they had swore in Annika not tell Shivay anything but she can tell him, with that she told him everything. From Pinky's jealousy of Annika & her 3 days deadline, to leave him forever. She told about the blackmailing to his NKK truth to him & how Annika decided to stage that drama to make him hate her & throw her out of his life & house. Shock would be an understatement for what he felt at that moment. His mother whom he loved so much that he couldn't hear a single thing against her played such a nasty drama behind his back. Oh no no she wasn't his mother right. She wasn't. Now he understood why she was so violent about him bringing Annika home. Why, while everyone was busy trying to take care of Annika she was trying to persuade him to throw her out spitting venom against her. He stumbled but his brothers held him tightly. He felt like killing himself not being able to bear the pain of betrayal from the woman he had loved so dearly for his whole life. He hugged his brothers tight trying to seek strength from them. After all the emotional hugs, promises to next time trust & not hide anything from each other followed by a nasty confrontation with Mrs. Pinky Singh Oberoi as Shivay had addressed her, where Pinky confessed everything she did including the lie she said about Shivay being illegitimate. And that was the last time Shivay had talked to his mother. No actually just Mrs. Oberoi because after what she did he didn't consider her as his mother.
After the confrontation Shivay went to Annika as he felt the need to take her in his arms right away. As he saw Annika sitting on the bed playing the video game Rudra had given her, he felt his heart would burst with love, affection & adoration he was feeling for the woman who did so much for him. He just ran & hugged her tightly & started crying not caring about how she would react seeing him crying. He kept on apologizing for everything he did with her while still sobbing in her neck. After a few minutes when he continued to sob he felt Annika's arms on his back & soft voice calling his name. He stilled the very moment. It was first time in the month since he brought her home he had heard her voice. She had finally said something & the first name she took was his, His. He quickly pulled back to see her watching him worriedly, concern evident in her voice & eyes. She asked the reason of his crying while wiping his tears & that was it. The dam broke, he started crying badly confessing about him getting to know the truth & his confrontation with Pinky. Annika was shocked to hear what Pinky did to get her away from Shivay. She still couldn't believe how could a mother stoop so low to play such dirty games with her own son's life. Shivay went on apologizing for not trusting her & for treating her like that while Annika's chest constricted seeing the broken man in front of her. That night was really the most important night of their lives. The night of truth, the night of reunion, the night to build a new pillar of their relationship,Trust. The night for new promises, promises to never let each other ago. And the night to celebrate their love. That night they held onto each other like their life depended on it, drawing strength from just each other's mere touch. They both kept apologizing, Shivay for not trusting her & Annika for not having faith in their relationship. That night they both understood the importance they held in each other's life. Both were able to find their oasis after suffering for months in the desert of each other's absence. One side Shivay was finally able to get his life, his wife, his old Annika back. He was able to somehow nurse the wounds her soul had though not completely but still partially which was enough for now. On the other hand Annika was there to hold her Shivay to prevent him from breaking down, to soothe the hurt his mother gave her, to protect him from everything. They both still holding on to each other promised always to support the other, be with each other through their thick & thin for the rest of their lives, never give up on each other, to love each other with every fiber of their being & to never repeat those mistakes ever again. The promises were followed by a night of passion, where both the souls let the other know how much they missed each other. Shivay kissed her slowly yet passionately showing how lucky he felt to have her in his life & for the first time Annika didn't shy away, but was an equal participant letting him how much he meant to her. That night Shivay made love to his woman, his life who was the sole reason of his existence, whom he loved so much that he could give his heart out to her. The woman in his arms deserved everything & he would give her the world, he promised himself as once again kisses her which she reciprocated with the equal passion. Annika was in some other world as the man she loved to such an extent that she could give her life for him showed his affection & love for her telling how much she meant to him. And as she responded back to him she promised herself to never let anything come between them ever again. That she would protect their relation from every storm coming their way, even if she will have to fight with his mother, she would. She will not let anyone break them apart ever. She will not repeat her mistakes ever again. The passion reached its heights as the two separated for ages lovers reached out to each other again & again. Much later as they both lay exhausted but satisfied in each other's arms staring in the eyes, Shivay caressed her face so softly as if she was a glass doll who would break with his rough touch & Annika closed her eyes enjoying his loving touches, Shivay said those words which he was dying to say since the day he found her in the hospital room. Annika's eyes misted as she heard what her heart always knew. They both kissed each other slowly for a really long time & then went into a deep peaceful slumber after ages not before saying the same words at the same time together again. I Love You.
Shivay brushed his thoughts off & looked down to see his wife slowly dozing off as she lay her head on his shoulder his arms around her as they both sat their wrapped in a blanket staring at the bonfire in front of them. The other two couples were busy in their own world as they all sat in between the mountains of Kashmir, celebrating their togetherness. Shivay kissed his wife's temple lovingly & said those 3 words he tells her every day, every hour, every minute & every second of his life & he knew will never get tired of saying. I Love You. Annika just looked at him through her half open sleep ladden eyes & smiled while saying in a mischievous tone & winking at him. I Know. I am the best. Even i love myself. Shivay just shook his head at his crazy wife & hugged her tight to himself. They have crossed the sloppy road of life & now were on the smooth plain. Life is & will be beautiful now with his Sunshine, his betterhalf, his Khidkitod Annika by his side.

Healing Your Ravaged Soul
Shivay looked lovingly at his wife who was smiling at something Rudra has said. A smile that reached her eyes. A smile that light up his world. A smile which can bring a dead flower to life. He had waited so long to see that smile, he looked down at his laptop as his eyes teared up thinking of her state when he had found her a month and a half back in the hospital. He had gone to Life Care Hospital to meet his friend Arjun who was a doctor, a psychiatrist, precisely.
Arjun & he were very good friends in college but after college they lost touch. They had met in a restaurant where he had gone to crack a deal. It was a surprised yet pleasant meeting & he came to know that Arjun was in the city since a few months. It was then Arjun asked him to meet at lunch or dinner so they could catch up for the lost years. At first he tried to make excuses of being busy, he certainly didn't want to see anyone. He wasn't interested in any kind of social gathering or a reunion, he felt suffocated when meeting people. He had isolated himself from the outer world. For him the only thing mattered was business. He had drown himself in work after what she did to him. She had killed him from within, what left were the broken pieces which poked his heart & soul every second he was breathing. He never wanted to see her, he hated her, he told himself every time she crossed his mind, which was every nano second of his life. He never forgot her, how could he, though he had kicked her out of his house & his life but he could never remove her from his heart. She was carved in his heart so deep that even if he try to he could never rub her memories off. Why she did this to him, they were so happy together, almost perfect, then why did she had to destroy everything, he would always think as his eyes start tearing up but then the feeling of betrayal & anger would overpower his logical thinking & he would turn into the same stone which he had transformed into after her departure. So he had tried hard to deny but Arjun was also stubborn like him. He never listened to his excuses & after alot of pleadings and emotional blackmailing it was decided that the next day Shivay would pick Arjun from the hospital in lunch time & then they would go for lunch on their favorite place from college time.
Next day when Shivay entered the hospital, he felt something familiar in the air. Something which unusually soothed his soul. It was almost as if she... he immediately shook his head as the thought of her being there crossed his mind. He again started feeling angry for thinking about the girl who broke him. Who tried to break his family, who hurt his brothers. Bloody gold digger, he thought bitterly then clearing his thoughts went towards Arjun's cabin after asking the receptionist about Dr. Arjun Mehra. He was just a few steps away from Arjun's cabin when suddenly that familiar feeling becoming stronger. He turned sideways with a thudding heart towards the window of a room to see a girl with her back towards him sitting on the bed while a nurse was giving her medicines. His heart started beating loudly for some unknown reason & he felt a strong urge to see that girl. It was as if she was pulling him towards her. Just as he was about to step towards her room Arjun came from behind and took him towards his cabin saying he just need to see a case file & then they will go for lunch. As they took their seats Arjun started going through a file while still talking but he wasn't paying complete attention to his talks, his mind was still disturbed with his feelings.
Few minutes later, as they were about to stand up to go out for their lunch, a nurse came running inside saying there was an emergency. As soon as Arjun heard the room no. he ran out like a bullet train. He ran behind him not understanding Arjun's sudden behavior, he wasn't like this impulsive. As they ran outside the cabin he saw Arjun going towards the same room of that girl. There were sounds of screaming & crashing of things coming from inside the room. He curiously walked inside to see what's happening. He saw the girl screaming & throwing things at the nurses & Arjun while all were trying to calm her down. He couldn't see her face as she was still facing away from him. As the girl picked up a knife from the fruit basket and tried to attack Arjun he shouted Arjun's name but relaxed when Arjun caught her hand & twisted it behind her back & took the knife away from her. But the next moment his breath hitched when he saw the girl's face as Arjun pulled her in his arms to calm her down & turned. It was her. The same woman who was his life. Who he was still trying to forget but wasn't successful even a bit. His woman. His Life, His Annika.
He stood rooted to the spot shocked & whispered her name so low that even he himself wasn't able to hear it properly. Finally he saw her, after a whole 3 months,5 days,13 hours,9 minutes & 34 seconds. He kept looking at the scene shocked, but then she pushed Arjun away and tried to run but due to the mess created in the room a glass piece pierced her foot & she stumbled. But before she could fall Shivay ran on impulse & held her in his arms tightly. She looked up alarmingly at the person. He looked into her eyes which were empty, hollow, there wasn't even an ounce of recognition in them. But still she calmed down in his arms as though even if her eyes didn't recognize him, her heart knew him & then she suddenly became unconscious. He shook her trying to wake her up but then seeing her not responding he layed her on the bed. He couldn't understand anything. There were so many questions in his mind. What was going on there.? What was she doing there.? What had happened to her.? Why was she behaving this way? So many questions & no answer. He saw her pale figure lying lifelessly on the hospital bed. She was not that woman whom he had chucked out of his life 3 months back. She had lost weight. Her Angelic face which once upon a time was always adorned with a crimson blush now looked pale, her beautiful eyes which once had a spark in them were now dull, her once luscious lips now dry & dark. She didn't look like the Annika he knew. His heart pained at the sight of her, his eyes wide in horror at the scene he had just witnessed. That chubby, bubbly, always smiling woman was nowhere. What had happened to her.? Not being able to bear her state his eyes teared up & he fell on his knees.
Everybody present in the room were so shocked including Arjun at the happenings that they couldn't move. But then as Arjun saw him on his knees he ran & held him asking if he was alright. But he didn't hear anything, his whole being was focused on the figure lying on the bed. Arjun took him towards his cabin understanding that he must be knowing the girl not before instructing the nurse to dress her wound & take care of her. As Arjun made him sit & gave water he sat in front of him silently, giving him time to compose himself. After a while when he was looking better Arjun asked him the question which was bothering him, that if he knew the girl. Shivay not replying asked him what had happened to Annika & why was she behaving this way. Finally getting to know that the name of the girl he was treating from the past few months was Annika. He told Shivay Everything. How 3 months ago, while coming back from his late night shift his car broke down in the middle of a secluded road & when he came out of the car to look for some help he heard few voices coming from near by. It was as if someone was calling for help. As he took a few steps to look for the voice he saw two man trying to force themselves on a girl behind some bushes & she was trying to push them along with screaming for help. He immediately ran towards them & forcefully pushed the goons off her. She looked shaken, tormented. Her clothes were torn & there were bruises all over her body along with a big gash on her forehead. After a good dog fight the goons were handed over to the police. After all this when he approached the girl, he saw her trembling figure trying to hide herself somewhere. As he neared her to console her she started shivering and crying & after the energy drained out of her she fainted. He brought her to the hospital & since then she was there. Arjun told him how in these 3 months she hadn't said a word, she was always lost in some other world & seemed a living corpse. They had tried very hard to make her talk, to find about her family but she wasn't willing to say anything. They took police's help too, so they could get some information about her or her family but even they weren't successful. It was as if she didn't belong to this universe. A complete enigma. She would just sit in the bed or would stand in front of the window of her room & stare away at nothing particular. She would not let anyone near her. If anyone tries to come towards her or force for something, be it food or medicines or any other thing, she would start panicking, screaming & shouting. In those 3 months many a times she had tried to harm herself but someway or the other they would save her. She would have nightmares. Almost every night she would wake up screaming, shouting and begging. According to Arjun she was in shock. And being a psychiatrist he could tell that it wasn't just because of that night's incident, there was more to her story, but only if she was willing to say something. It took Arjun a month to make her comfortable with her. But still she would not say anything. Arjun would come to her room & talk about every random thing & she would just listen. No response from her, neither a nod, nor an eye blink, nothing, she would just stare ahead. And after getting tired of her not responding Arjun would just leave, dejected. But then next day he would come back with new hope. Today also she had a panic attack. It was always like this, everytime she would have a panic attack, she would try to harm herself or the other person & then to calm her down they would have to sedate her. But today's event shocked them all that how she calmed down in Shivay's arms. As Arjun finished his side of story, Shivay was on the verge of another breakdown. His eyes were bloodshot red, his hands clenched into fists & he looked like he wasn't breathing. He was going through the worst phase of his life, his Annika has gone through so much, she has suffered so much & he wasn't there for her. No in fact, it was all his fault. Today she was in this state because of him, if he hadn't kicked her out that day, this would not have happened. He felt like killing himself, it was like someone was drilling a hole in his heart. He felt ashamed of himself, not once he tried to look for her, to find her. If only he searched for her instead of drowning in his own sorrows. He came out of his self pity thoughts when Arjun asked him how did he know her & requested him to tell everything he knew about her so that he could help her to recover from this condition. And though feeling broken beyond anything, he told his friend everything right from the start. How he met her, how they were attracted to each other, the forced marriage, the Kapoor's fiasco, their growing understanding & then at last her betrayal. How she tried to break his family & how he threw her out of his life & house 3 months ago. Shock would be an understatement for what Arjun felt at that moment. But being a professional psychiatrist, he composed himself & joined the dots of his own story with Shivay's & they figured that Arjun met Annika the same day she was out of Oberoi Mansion. He could see that his friend was extremely guilty for what happened to Annika inspite of everything she did to him & his family. It was as if it didn't matter to him now after seeing her in this state.
After composing himself, Shivay asked about Annika's treatment & all, to which Arjun told him that Annika needs care, love & attention. She needs to feel, that she is alive & after witnessing the scene from before, it seems that he can help her. The way she reacted in his presence today & how she calmed down in his arms, it was the first time she behaved this way in the 3 months. It was as if she tried to recognize him, as if her heart called out to him. So after alot of discussion, it was decided that he would take Annika back home to OM. As Shivay completed all the formalities with Arjun's help, he came to Annika's room to see her sitting on the bed lost in thoughts. He stood there for some time trying to gauge her mood, but not getting successful he moved near her, while Arjun stood near the door in case Annika panicked. As he sat down beside her & hesitantly placed his hand on her hand Annika suddenly looked at him. He was half scared about her pushing him away like everyone else but he relaxed when she did nothing except for maintaining the eye lock with him. As if she was trying to remember him or worse trying see through him by his eyes. Arjun came by their side & gently tried explaining Annika about shivay. He told her that Shivay was her husband & he was here to take her back home & she had to go with him. Shivay & Arjun looked as Annika who was listening to Arjun turned to stare at Shivay for a whole minute then again at Arjun before looking ahead. Shivay was relieved if not very happy because she may had not said or reacted anything but the light glow he saw in her otherwise dull eyes twinkle for a second before it vanished was enough to give him hope. Hope to make her fine. Hope to bring her back to life, to him. Shivay further discussed with Arjun about the precautions he had to take with Annika in the house & how she will behave once they reached home, as the nurse got Annika ready in her previous clothes which Shivay had asked Khanna to bring once it was decided that she would go with him. He had thought that may be seeing her old things may trigger something in her, but the attempt came out futile. As they entered in the room again to see if she was ready, since Khanna was down with car, he stopped for a second. Seeing Annika in her old clothes brought back so many memories. She was looking her old self except for her face which didn't look like Annika's. Tears welled up in his eyes again but he composed himself, remembering it wasn't the time to fall weak. As she stood up from the bed & tried to walk, she stumbled again due to her injury making Shivay hold her tightly & without thinking he picked her up in his arms forgetting about her state. But as Annika stiffened in his old, he remembered about her panicking everytime anyone tries to come close, he braced himself for the worst but was surprised when Annika relaxed in his arms & rested her head on his shoulder. He looked at Arjun who smiled at him, making him return the same smile before bidding him bye & walking out from there. He settled her in the car & sat beside her & as the car made it's way to their destination. Shivay wasn't bothered even a little about his family's reaction but he couldn't help be worried about her, that how she would react seeing all the people. He tried starting a conversation with her many times but she didn't respond & kept looking out of the window.
As the car reached Oberoi Mansion & he led her out of the car & inside the house in his arms, he noticed she had started shivering & her hold on his collars tightened while her head rested on his shoulder like before & so trying to soothe her, he kissed at the top of her head. As he entered the house with her, all the family members surrounded them, having different reactions. While Dadi, Tej & Shakti were surprised seeing Annika in his arms, OmRu & Jhanvi's face displayed shocked, concern & something else which he wasn't able to comprehend. But the most loud reaction was of his mother who was literally screaming at him, asking why had he brought that low class, gold digger here. As he was about to answer her & tell her to mellow down & don't shout since he was concerned for the delicate woman in his arms, he noticed Annika's state getting worse. She had started hyperventilating & he realized she was scared, so instead of answering his mother he started shushing her to calm her down but when she didn't, he took her to the couch making her settle down he sat beside her & side hugged her while rubbing her back asking her to relax. Everyone was shocked to see her state. Gauri brought a glass of water Om took it from her immediately & went to Annika concerned yet happy to see his Bhabhi back. As he approached her & offered her water, she suddenly pushed his hand away screaming. Om staggered back shocked as the glass fell on the floor into pieces. Everyone looked baffled at her sudden violent behavior, as Annika stood up screaming & ran away limping from everyone in a distant corner of the living room. Shivay looked at OmRu who were shaken at her behavior & went to Annika & hugged her tightly, she first resisted him, but he didn't move away & rubbed her back continuously trying to soothe her. After a few minutes her screaming, crying & sobbing stopped & he realized she had slept exhausted. Sighing, he picked her up in his arms & walked towards his room gesturing his brothers to follow, while ignoring his mother's loud Oh My Matas.
Settling her on the bed in his room, he caressed her hair & pressed a light peck on her forehead. Behind him OmRu, Gauri, Bhavya & Jhanvi entered. After Shivay finished making Annika comfortable, he turned around to look at all of them staring at him concerned yet with questioning eyes, he sighed asking them to sit. As they sat Shivay narrated the whole incident from start till the reason of her this state, once he finished he looked up to see all of them in tears. Suddenly Om stood up shocking everyone & once looking at Annika left the room abruptly. Rudra too stood up & went behind Om knowing he must be feeling guilty for their beloved Bhabhi's state, followed by Gauri & Bhavya. Shivay sat their stunned at his brother's reactions, while Jhanvi placed her hand on his shoulder & told him not to worry about Om, because he must would not have been able to bear it as he is a very sensitive person. Telling him to look after Annika, she also left the room saying she will send dinner for them in the room itself, while Shivay sat there still recovering from the reactions he got from everyone. It doesn't seem like anyone was angry with Annika for what she did 3 months ago. In fact they were more concerned for her state, especially Om if he had gauged his reaction right. Why was Om behaving so hurt seeing her like this, after what Annika had said about him. Clearing his thoughts he went to sit beside Annika & kept looking at her as if he wasn't getting enough of her. Nothing mattered to him now, all what mattered was Annika. She was here with him & now he wouldn't let her go ever. He would make everything fine. He will bring his wife back. Yes she was still his wife, he hadn't filed for divorce even after signing the papers. He wasn't able to do it & now he was glad he didn't.
Shivay came out of his past memories to see his life, his Annika laughing freely as Bhavya & Rudra bickered over something silly as always. She suddenly looked at him & found him staring at her ever so lovingly & passed a 100 volt smile his way & he smiled back at her. She was his Sunshine, his reason to live, his everything. He thanked god everyday for giving him a second chance with her, for bringing her back to life, to him because without her he wouldn't have been able to live.
The journey to bring the old Annika back was very hard. It took them one and a half month to bring back the khidkitod Annika. In the start she wouldn't let anyone come near her except him & Jhanvi. Yes Jhanvi, he was also surprised by her being comfortable with Jhanvi. Maybe she felt the motherly love she craved all those years in her. She would lay her head in Jhanvi's lap while she would caress her hair & talk with her for hours when he was in office & once he would come home, Annika wouldn't leave him even for a minute, sticking with him all the time. She still had not said a word but step by step she was progressing slowly. She still wouldn't let any other family member near her, though OmRu, Gauri & Bhavya tried hard but she would everytime start panicking & they would retrive back dejectedly. But then slowly she began to address others presence too.
It all started with Rudra. It was her sixteenth day in Oberoi Mansion & Shivay had gone to Office for an urgent meeting while Jhanvi was in kitchen preparing lunch for her. Annika was in her room when Rudra entered in the room sulking, complaining about his latest break up to Shivay when he noticed it was only Annika in the room. She was startled by his sudden presence in the room. Rudra sensing this tried to go back in hastle so that his Bhabhi won't start to panic when he suddenly tripped on the carpet & fell flat on his face. He started screaming like a baby when suddenly he heard someone laughing. He looked for the source & was surprised to see his Bhabhi laughing hard clutching her stomach. He couldn't believe it. His Bhabhi was laughing. She was actually reacting to something he did. His happiness knew no bounds. He lay there on the floor smiling like an idiot, seeing his superwoman laughing so carefree, but then something happened which just blew his mind away. Annika came to him & ruffled his hair still laughing & give her hand to him to make him stand up. He was dumbfounded. His Bhabhi wasn't getting scared of him but was actually offering him her hand. Not wanting to waste the opportunity he quickly accepted her help and stood up. While Shivay who had came back from office early, Jhanvi, Om, Gauri & Bhavya stood at the door looking at the scene. Shivay was happy & relieved that Annika was finally coming out of her shell, others were just admiring them, as they felt the old AniRu bond coming back. And it was just the beginning, from there the actual progress of Annika started. As slowly Rudra bonded with her due to their past khidkitod devar-bhabhi jodi, Annika befriended with him really well. Others also took it as an opportunity & tried to come close to her with Rudra's help. Specially Om, he was trying desperately very hard to make his Bhabhi comfortable with him. And in all this, the person who was happy the most was Shivay. He had started getting glimpses of his old Annika in her. He had noticed the way she would behave around him. How she would stare at him for long when he would be working on his laptop & when he would look up she would immediately avert her gaze. How she responded to his light touches, when sometimes he would put a lock of her hair behind her ear or would peck her forhead lovingly. She would always shiver at his touch but never backed away & he was thankful for that. At least there was something which had not changed in her. Though she never talks but he knew she had recognized her Shivay. She was coming back to him but there was something which was stopping her & he needed to know what it was. She did not say anything but he could read her love for him in her eyes. He knew the journey was long but he will succeed, his heart knew it & in this journey his brothers & their betterhalves were with him & he couldn't be more grateful for that.
He came out of his thoughts when he felt a hand on his shoulder & he knew who it was. He looked up smilingly to see his wife standing beside him, he held her hand which was on his shoulder & made her sit beside him. He then took both her hands in his & kissed them lovingly yet gratefully. He couldn't thank her enough, for everything she did for him. Just to save his so called pride. Just to protect him from the hurt he would get after knowing the truth. Annika saw him looking at her with the same emotion she was habitual of seeing since the day he got to know everything. And since then, there was always this guilt & regret in his eyes. She knew why it was there. She knew he regret every moment of their past in which he hurt her & it was the same with her too. She also regretted the day she fell for Pinky's trap & hurt her Shivay, but now she wanted him to move on, to forget those horrible memories & make new & Beautiful memories together. She leaned up & kissed his eyes & cheek lovingly indicating him to not feel bad. He always thought what good he did in his life to get this pure soul, this angel in his life. After all he did with her, all the hurt he caused her, she was still with him loving him like nobody has ever loved him, protecting him from everything without letting him know about it. And he wouldn't have got to know about the sacrifice she made for him, if not for the unfortunate or maybe he could call it a fortunate day of his life. He still remembered the day when he finally got to know the truth. The very truth which broke him from within.
It had been more than a month since Annika came back to OM. He had come to Rudra's room to ask him to be with Annika as he had to attend a conference call in the study. When he reached the room he heard Om telling Rudra how guilty he felt for Annika's this state, that if only they had not supported Annika in that Sham of a drama that fateful day, all this wouldn't have happened to her. Shivay couldn't believe his ears. It was all a drama, a drama which Annika did. That means his heart was right all along. It was right to always believe that Annika did all this for a reason, but his good for nothing anger ruined his sense of thinking & his life. Not being able to take it anymore he entered the room & confronted both his brothers who were shocked to see him there. After alot of scolding for not telling him the truth, arguments, persuasions & even begging from Shivay when his brothers were not ready to tell him the truth saying they had swore on Bhabhi that they wouldn't tell him anything, he started to turn back dejected when suddenly his Badi Ma entered the room who was standing at the door for sometime witnessing the whole scene. Jhanvi said she will tell him everything. He was more shocked that even his Badi Ma knew everything. He started thinking what was the secret that every body in the house knew except him, even though it was his life which got ruined & he didn't even know the reason. As OmRu tried to stop her, he glared at them in return, while Jhanvi told them that they had swore in Annika not tell Shivay anything but she can tell him, with that she told him everything. From Pinky's jealousy of Annika & her 3 days deadline, to leave him forever. She told about the blackmailing to his NKK truth to him & how Annika decided to stage that drama to make him hate her & throw her out of his life & house. Shock would be an understatement for what he felt at that moment. His mother whom he loved so much that he couldn't hear a single thing against her played such a nasty drama behind his back. Oh no no she wasn't his mother right. She wasn't. Now he understood why she was so violent about him bringing Annika home. Why, while everyone was busy trying to take care of Annika she was trying to persuade him to throw her out spitting venom against her. He stumbled but his brothers held him tightly. He felt like killing himself not being able to bear the pain of betrayal from the woman he had loved so dearly for his whole life. He hugged his brothers tight trying to seek strength from them. After all the emotional hugs, promises to next time trust & not hide anything from each other followed by a nasty confrontation with Mrs. Pinky Singh Oberoi as Shivay had addressed her, where Pinky confessed everything she did including the lie she said about Shivay being illegitimate. And that was the last time Shivay had talked to his mother. No actually just Mrs. Oberoi because after what she did he didn't consider her as his mother.
After the confrontation Shivay went to Annika as he felt the need to take her in his arms right away. As he saw Annika sitting on the bed playing the video game Rudra had given her, he felt his heart would burst with love, affection & adoration he was feeling for the woman who did so much for him. He just ran & hugged her tightly & started crying not caring about how she would react seeing him crying. He kept on apologizing for everything he did with her while still sobbing in her neck. After a few minutes when he continued to sob he felt Annika's arms on his back & soft voice calling his name. He stilled the very moment. It was first time in the month since he brought her home he had heard her voice. She had finally said something & the first name she took was his, His. He quickly pulled back to see her watching him worriedly, concern evident in her voice & eyes. She asked the reason of his crying while wiping his tears & that was it. The dam broke, he started crying badly confessing about him getting to know the truth & his confrontation with Pinky. Annika was shocked to hear what Pinky did to get her away from Shivay. She still couldn't believe how could a mother stoop so low to play such dirty games with her own son's life. Shivay went on apologizing for not trusting her & for treating her like that while Annika's chest constricted seeing the broken man in front of her. That night was really the most important night of their lives. The night of truth, the night of reunion, the night to build a new pillar of their relationship,Trust. The night for new promises, promises to never let each other ago. And the night to celebrate their love. That night they held onto each other like their life depended on it, drawing strength from just each other's mere touch. They both kept apologizing, Shivay for not trusting her & Annika for not having faith in their relationship. That night they both understood the importance they held in each other's life. Both were able to find their oasis after suffering for months in the desert of each other's absence. One side Shivay was finally able to get his life, his wife, his old Annika back. He was able to somehow nurse the wounds her soul had though not completely but still partially which was enough for now. On the other hand Annika was there to hold her Shivay to prevent him from breaking down, to soothe the hurt his mother gave her, to protect him from everything. They both still holding on to each other promised always to support the other, be with each other through their thick & thin for the rest of their lives, never give up on each other, to love each other with every fiber of their being & to never repeat those mistakes ever again. The promises were followed by a night of passion, where both the souls let the other know how much they missed each other. Shivay kissed her slowly yet passionately showing how lucky he felt to have her in his life & for the first time Annika didn't shy away, but was an equal participant letting him how much he meant to her. That night Shivay made love to his woman, his life who was the sole reason of his existence, whom he loved so much that he could give his heart out to her. The woman in his arms deserved everything & he would give her the world, he promised himself as once again kisses her which she reciprocated with the equal passion. Annika was in some other world as the man she loved to such an extent that she could give her life for him showed his affection & love for her telling how much she meant to him. And as she responded back to him she promised herself to never let anything come between them ever again. That she would protect their relation from every storm coming their way, even if she will have to fight with his mother, she would. She will not let anyone break them apart ever. She will not repeat her mistakes ever again. The passion reached its heights as the two separated for ages lovers reached out to each other again & again. Much later as they both lay exhausted but satisfied in each other's arms staring in the eyes, Shivay caressed her face so softly as if she was a glass doll who would break with his rough touch & Annika closed her eyes enjoying his loving touches, Shivay said those words which he was dying to say since the day he found her in the hospital room. Annika's eyes misted as she heard what her heart always knew. They both kissed each other slowly for a really long time & then went into a deep peaceful slumber after ages not before saying the same words at the same time together again. I Love You.
Shivay brushed his thoughts off & looked down to see his wife slowly dozing off as she lay her head on his shoulder his arms around her as they both sat their wrapped in a blanket staring at the bonfire in front of them. The other two couples were busy in their own world as they all sat in between the mountains of Kashmir, celebrating their togetherness. Shivay kissed his wife's temple lovingly & said those 3 words he tells her every day, every hour, every minute & every second of his life & he knew will never get tired of saying. I Love You. Annika just looked at him through her half open sleep ladden eyes & smiled while saying in a mischievous tone & winking at him. I Know. I am the best. Even i love myself. Shivay just shook his head at his crazy wife & hugged her tight to himself. They have crossed the sloppy road of life & now were on the smooth plain. Life is & will be beautiful now with his Sunshine, his betterhalf, his Khidkitod Annika by his side.
