I loved the attention to detail they have here. There was just rice and thinned curd for Anami. Suitable for her state of health.

Shradh Pandit does pay homage to Amir Khan. Even in the way he widens his eyes.

I haven't been so moved by a scene in a while as I was when Anami broke down. Wonderfully enacted by Mahima. The pain and vulnerability hidden beneath the defiance and pride was palpable.

Rarely do tv shows/ movies make me cry

But yesterday there were tears in my eyes seeing that phone conversation between pagli pandithiyan and her Anami with satrupa looking on

Anami struggling to keep her voice from breaking knowing that her pagli pandithayan has heard the cries of her heart 😭

Mother's instincts are never wrong they know what to say and when to say it and here too the voice that has been her lullaby to her all these years as she fell asleep the voice that disciplined her and comforted her that voice miles away but through the phone she could feel her through the vibrations of her voice she felt that hug that pat on her head!!

That look by satrupa seeing Anami eating the way satrupa made sure to give her favourite rice and curd her own way of trying to call it a truce I guess 😳

The characters all are so real flawed but standing with depth to their characters

Show has me hooked to it!!
