Celebrating Eid in the UK today. Not sure when the Muslims in India are doing it. Anyway, Eid Mubarak to anyone who does celebrate it. I think I'm the only active Muslim member but 🥳

Thanks Queen. I am an American citizen of Bangladeshi origin. I have come here to celebrate Kurbani Eid with cousins and relatives. It's been a while I have celebrated Eid or Kurban in Bangladesh.

Oh you're American? Cool. My mother goes Bangladesh every two years or so and my dad's over there right now. It's his first visit to Bangladesh in almost fifteen years.
I remember doing Qurbani Eid in Bangladesh. It's very different to Eid in Western countries.

Yes Queen. It's completely different. There are cows and goats in many places here. Some people will be doing it in the city but most of them have gone home to their villages. We will go to our village tomorrow morning and stay there for the whole day. Eid in Western countries in pretty quite. I have gone to classes on Eid day back in The States but would take day off from work on such days. But here it's pretty crowded but you get to feel the joy of Eid. I am happy to be here for Kurban this time. Feel free to email me.
