Old villain, re-entry.

Finally someone remembered Jahnvi and Tej. So the absurd track we were subjected to ( with some fabulous acting from Reyhna and Mahesh) since the last few days wasn't a separate track after all. It was all a bizarre setup to bring Svetlana back in the lives of the Oberois. It's not really surprising considering Svet has been here since day one and is actually the main antagonist in the show impacting the lives of Oberois in one way or another. She won't go anywhere until she has caused some major damage and the Oberois find a way to send her away in a permanent sort of way.

As nasty as Pinky is, it is still a little bit sad to see her in this state. But it can't be helped. She made this bed, so she must lie in it. The wedding rasams can't fully begin until Tej and Jahnvi are back in OM and once Jahnvi is back, she will most likely take the role of 'Maa' during the rasams, as she has already been sorted into the Ladkewale side. Seeing Jahnvi performing all the duties that was originally meant for her, it will be another massive blow for Pinky. But until she realizes the gravity of her actions, she deserves this isolation from her family.

It's very sweet the Shivika are trying to help Rikara with their issues, but these forced situations can only get them so far. These things can only bring temporary physical proximity between Rikara and make their hearts flutter, but unless they find a way to have an actual conversation, nothing can solve their issues. Unlike Shivika, who had obstacles of their own but are otherwise a lot more similar in personality, Rikara have vastly different personalities besides all the misunderstanding that they've had and that makes communicating even more difficult. They need to address all their problems from the core and they need to figure out a way to that own their own.

Shivika on the other hand have now become each other's half in every sense, and now basking in their happiness. It's all fun and games for them now, until the next storm hits them and when then happens they'll be facing it together, being stronger than ever. The storm being Svetlana, who is getting ready to shake OM from its core.

The funny thing is how will Jahnvi explain to her family of bringing in a Svetlana lookalike ? Also she will probably cause trouble for Om and Gauri

Good post. But please excuse me if i am rude, I am shocked and surprised by the fact that somebody can feel a mm of pity for this thick skinned lady, Pinky. In my view she is the most worst villain in IB. I can feel pity for Ragini, Tia, which i am not, but not this lady. If some body feel pity for this lady then watch the episode of the separation day again when Shivvay and Annika were crying completely lifeless. This i am saying because other villians are not relative but as a mother if Pinki can do this then imagine her extent of evilness. If a mother can not feel the pain of his son during kidnapping and all during separation then i can not imagine the extent she can go to harm Annika. This is now my worry for Annika now and i am sure she will do some thing to harm her. My guess she will be the reason for Annika's NDE not Ragini.

With the re entry of Svetlana, her real hidden motive will be exposed. is it a far darker secret than was thought or is it just plain revenge to avenge her humiliation at the hands of the Oberois, father and son.

I am confused as to how Svetlana's appearance will be justified. Tbh though I found the whole Peter-Kaveri angle stupid. Mostly because you could for once believe that there might be a lookalike for Tej but one for Svet too? And then both being together? That is too much of a coincidence not to be suspected.

Anyways, her reappearance makes me wary already but I believe she is a bigger threat on Om and Gauri than on anyone else. Her intentions to harm the Obrois have been ping ponging since the show began and has lost that effect of her initial ughh... "villainy"

Also, I get what you meant about RiKara not actually coming close with what ShivIka are doing but after the half-baked scenes they were being given that weren't convincing, I am finally enjoying them again. I also liked how this insecurity of Om reared its head for a bit "Iska matlab Gauri mujhe ab pasand nahi karti?". I think Gauri's ignorance was much needed at this point to push them along. And I hope Gauri stops running after Om from now on, with or without Shivaay's insistence.

I've been wondering for a while about the vanvaas track and how it can possibly happen so its pretty intriguing to me.
