Naksh (pre leap) was touted to be the next lead after NK-AK but I think the actor Rohan, looked too young to carry forward a marriage story-line plus his acting was sub-par esp if compared to other actors on the show. I am liking the new Naksh actor. He is much better at emoting and can hold his own plus he looks mature. I think if this actor was present during the Tara fiasco, things might have turned diff. But we'll never know.
But it is very evident that Naksh and Keerti are the new Varsha and Shourya. VS were never parallel leads but they were the secondary couple. Apart from NK-AK, VS's problems/moments as a couple were shown 2nd most. Nandini or Rahsmi or other couples came and went but VS stayed as the 2nd lead couple. Similarly this will happen with KeeSh. I like KeeSh and I am fine with it.
I think one poster on IF explained it by using BhabhiMaa's words - that Maheshwaris already accepted Varsha as beti not bahu. Singhanias were changed over time by Ak. Similarly, now Singhanias (who are like the Maheshwaris) have wholeheartedly accepted Keerti as beti and Naira will have to work hard to change the Goenkas (like Ak did with Singhanias).
