The first thing that came to my mind.
Today's episode left me in a weird state of mind. Perhaps I expected more or just that, I was pissed today for other reasons.
Coming to the episode,
Shivaay could have done better yet chose this route.
What I liked about it that he stuck to the diplomatic, shrewd Businessman Side and used ONLY those resources he had.
"NKK & Mujhe aap kaun hai isse faraq nahi padta"
He twisted that and tried getting it out from Anika. Anika only proved that she guarded his secret more than anything and that even though his beliefs were different from hers and she might not even agree with his beliefs but she Respected them.
"Respect" one of the key components to a relationship. And he understood that and left to find the next way to the truth.
His Brothers.
Once he had said to Omkara that nothing can come between them nothing.
Its not the blood that makes them brothers, Its THEM.
"Him ek doosre se kuch nahi chupaayenge"
Omkara had told him directly that he couldn't tell because it was Bhaabhi who had given him Kasam. Yet again Anika the Protector was successful.
But even they had a promise of not hiding anything.
Omkara being the mature doesn't give up fast. He is fearful like Anika. He can't see Shivaay break. He knows the consequence might be deadly, and he is a man of insecurities (quite similar to Anika) and then his love for Shivaay which quite reflects Anika's.
Anika will show Shivaay the mirror on a face when necessary and Hide his flaws from the world when necessary. Exactly like Om.
Though Om also has to act like Shivaay's elder brother, at times so opening his flaws is what he prefers most.
But today they know it isn't Shivaay's fault. And the two, Anika & Omkara have taken to be Shivaay's shields (just like he is for them).
But Rudra, he is much more a reflection of Shivaay. Straight and precise & yet diplomatic.
Just like Shivaay Rudra has that vulnerable emotional side doesn't take long to erupt and at same time it doesn't take long to be strong at the outside again. Both prefer keeping two images. One visible to the world and other two their "Real" family.
Its sad that I have had to use the word Real. Cause I no longer want to put Tej or Jaanvi, Shakti Pinky Prinku to it.
Its just the Obros-Obahus that ate a family.
Rudra is most emotional about Shivaay just Like Shivaay is about Rudra.
It din't take them long to just hug and show how emotionally affected the two were. While Omkara looked on battling whether to join them with his whole heart or to be strong and fight the so called truth. He starts wondering how The truth got till Shivaay. I somewhere felt he knew Shivaay was pretending.
But Rudra, gave up fast. He wouldn't want the cause of the entire plague to remain. (What Shivaay will also choose to do)
He spills the beans. Its better the truth out now and the cause be fixed before nothing remains.
And a heartbroken Shivaay remains in the vulnerability of knowing only half the truth.
The scene where he was in the dark and yet a little light symbolized just that. He is neither in truth nor oblivious of it. Somewhere in between the lie & truth.
The next path-"Maa"
Note that he din't call her MOM. He called her "Maa". The vulnerability..! He is scared. Why are they blaming his mother his Maa not the MOM he calls her in front of the world.š
He knew she din't like Anika! But found out that she hated her!
The woman he knew as his " Maa" had been her mother to receive something in return !
She had made a deal?
She gives Love & gets back everything for herself?
Love isn't that! And a mother's love certainly not.
Tapasya?
You are asking something in return for that?
There have been many examples in Hindu Mythology, whenever a Bhakt does Tapasya, he gets what he deserves, but when he gets greedy for more he gets the worse of all punishments. (But, also later he has the greatest of transformations. ) Especially the Shiv-Puran has many instances of the same.
Killing the happiness of someone you Love isn't why you love someone.!!
No matter what you do,
It comes back to you.
Sad enough Pinky got trapped in her own trap.
Now whether what she says now is a lie?
Or
What she had said earlier was a lie?
A Liar cannot be trusted.!!
I was just moved by just thinking how terrible it would be for Shivaay.
Being in the vulnerable state of not knowing your own existence your own roots!?
Not knowing a truth about yourself that all around you know. The insecurity..!!
The scene where he hugs Om-Ru, fearful of the Unknown.š
After doing everything for family this is what he gets?
Of course he is flawed, but does he really deserve this?
Though "Shivaay's" Character has truly lived up to the name.
The Destroyer & The Protector.
He will destroy his relationship with "Maa".
And there will be the re-birth of the relationship.
Everyone is flawed, Everyone.
When the flaws come to light they are ugly.
But a flawed has to be loved to transform the flaws into Beautiful.
Woah, by just writing this so far I realise I got the answers I had been looking for.
I won't mind if you call me an overoptimistic, š I am used to it.
