The Advay we saw on Friday is the same they promised to show ...the one who was in Promo and the first few episodes,, before his flirting started... so I am not complaining at all that this is unexpected. But this doesnt mean that we are liable to accept his actions with out criticizing the flaws...

The Advay we saw now was the one which darkest nightmares are made of for any girl...even a girl who was facing a fate with PP... He was ruthless and cruel...didnt show even a slight bit of care or concern for an injured Chandni and made her stand through a cold night on her injured leg ...that too under treat of abuse. Imagine this in real life ...the horror...not once he took a peep at her through out night ... when he got up and saw her condition, his priority still was to keep up facade infront of Nani...forced her to wake from her dizziness...

Tbh I think pp would have been worst. Don't know what kind of pervert he is but any guy ready to rape a intoxicated girl is worst sort of person. I don't think pp would have stopped if chandhni said no and his dialogues are almost always cheap. I didn't like what advay said to chandhni because I expect more from him.

The way he closed the door between her and her sisters... reminded me of all those stories we hear in India about abused wives who are not allowed to even meet her family ... It was heart breaking and scary to say the least... but to think about it, these are things that happen in real life a lot. This is very real.

True. It is very scary. I was happy at least that sisters saw each other from window.

Now if you imagine any other actor other than Barun playing Advay... I wouldnt be able to even stand such a thing on TV... my heart has double standards for Barun and the rest of the brigade. But even with Barun, a guy like Advay is not someone who can easily be forgiven.

In the makers defense, they always said this was the deal with Advay. For me the only way to accept him, is to accept that he is mentally unstable. He is borderline psycho😛... but no kidding ...he is going a lot extreme with his revenge... normal ppl, if they want revenge would go for financial ruin, or defamation or most rightfully, use that brilliant brain to bring them out in front of law and get justice. Considering his money and hold in police, dont see why thats not an option...😕

No police is not an option. It was a mob who attacked them and it's hard to find people after so many years and to top it off it was a religious matter. No one in their right senses would try to reignite the issue. it could be dangerous for advay life if anyone got to know he is Dev. The only hope is to find the person who did it and then make the person confess. Advay is negative no doubt about it but season 2 shlok was even more gray. So I was expecting even worse from advay.

Nahhh... but thats not our boy's style ...he is a bit abnormal... he plots and force a girl he hates to marry him, play with her, threatened her of abuse even though he might not go through with it, lies, manipulates ...play her like a chess piece...He is a broken human... a mind that is not sane...

Yes when it concern chandhni he is bit psycho in anti hero way.

Now who do you expect such a man needs in his life? A sensible and strong woman ... a woman who can mend his mind and heart...who doesnt shy away from pointing him his flaw...who has a will to stand with him through think and thin...to defend him in front of the world...to scold him when he is wrong ...to protect him...because accept it or not, women are stronger at heart... even with all her past tragedies, they could have shown a lady who still has a strong mind... but so far Chandni dissapointed me She is sweet and nice but she is the kind of woman who lets ppl walk all over her ... Her mom, PP and now Advay...basically a submissive person...

Hmm but I think chandhni bends but never break kind of person and when she gets to know he is Dev than she will do everything you mentioned above with haq. Advay is some strange guy who suddenly appeared I her life and just won't go away. Also bit submissiveness is needed. I think of it as jaya and amitabh in kabhi khusi khabi ghum.

Not saying that such woman doesnt exist...infact a lot majority of indian woman are conditioned to be like her... but this makes Advay - Chandini pair a recipe for disaster ... if they dont redeem her character soon, then we have a couple were he keeps hurting her and she keeps suffering till a point reaches where both loses ...

Phew... all this rant ...but end of the day our shows makes has short term memory ... for all we know, 2mrw Advay will turn all puppy dog cute and
Chandini will turn Jansi rani 😛

So what do you guys think of our couple after day one?

I am loving them. Honestly Friday was such a emotional roller coaster. Since I have seen season 2 I knew nothing will shock me so I hurried home with great anticipation and I enjoyed each and every scene. Touching dialogue was bit cringe worthy but otherwise I enjoyed episode.
