I heard of some rituals in India where the transgender people marry a God named Aravan. In some documentary I saw the marriage rituals being performed by a puja, and the kinnars consider themselves the wives of the God and apply sin door themselves. Does anyone know of this ritual? If true are they going to show such a thing in the show?, although I really don't want it to happen

I haven't heard anything like this... n why they will show this in the show.. Shakti is about how a normal man love n marry a kinner n how will their relationship work... n here that god is harman so no need of any other god...

No ;no way they'll use in the show bcz . Shakti based in an unconditional love story between a man and a TG .Even if this ritual exist they'll not use.I read a lot about TG but never read about this ritual ;i'll search more ;just for culture. Thanks for the post dear

Yes in discovery channel I saw a documentary where the Indian transgender people get married to a god and hence they apply sindoor. In Shakti some of the kinnars apply sindoor. Don't know whether it is for this marriage or not.

I would definitely not love to see such a track bit however if they want the misunderstanding track to run longer they may show it. But I don't thing they are going to show it since the religious aspect is not complete in the show. Saumya does not seem to be happy with God for making her a kinnar.
