Posts like yours are making me enjoy the forum as much as the show so thank you.
I loved your analysis of the pagdi burning, the destruction of the old defunct order before the new can take it's place. Fire signifies purification and rebirth and Anami unknowingly has signalled in the changes that are about to come about.
At this point in time Anami is self confident but there's a fine line between being self confident and being egotistical. It will be interesting to see if she crosses it, if the situation she finds herself in will necessitate that change in her. I'd like to see her on the cusp of that change evaluating who she is and who she is becoming. I want her to have Satrupa's spirit but not to forget Murari Pandit's upbringing.

@jaya Anami will not want to show her vulnerability. This is where sometimes the thin line might be crossed as to mask her feelings she might do something that might signal arrogance than self belief.
Yes fire is a purifier and most importantly it takes dirt but still remains pure. Yes Murari's family upbringing will what will help Anami see through relations beyond the equation of power and Satrupa's spirit will make understand the need of power to make even positive change.

Beautiful analysis !!!
I think you said it perfectly ! The game atm is between guruji and Pujan. Also the first pair of twins that were born. Probably they were killed to make Avdoot the heir ? Or may be Narottam. Also I wonder why was Vatsalya left alive so long and killed after he was made the waaris. They could have got rid of him long back. Satrupa is definitely partial towards a son , she had no qualms getting rid of her daughter. If she was a real player she could have easily traded her son and kept him alive till he turns 18. But na she did not, she is not a planner or someone who thinks out of the box so that it will benefit her in the long run.

Moreover the unanimous praises of Mahima makes my heart sing ! I was a huge fan right from her first show seriously seeing her grow and the positive feedback makes me content.

Beautiful Analysis Shruthi. I read your posts whenever you write and posted first time on your write up! You write beautifully. I am not very good with the story of Mahabharata. I tend to forget the details and I am glad some amazing writers on the forum throw light on how similar these characters are to Mahabharata. humans are generally selfish beings.

I hope with the pagdi burning it symbolises that the men will not hold the power anymore and it will the females who will run the empire now.

I totally agree that Guruji is very smart and he knew Satrupa would have given up Anami because she knew that Vatsalya will get her everything. But now she has no choice and maybe he set this up for Satrupa?

Anami is a treat to watch. I am loving all the characters. They are very well written. I also like the fact that the CV's don't take too long on things and bang bang move on. The writing is very crisp and the direction is superb. I hope they maintain the intensity.

@hugsandkisses yes Satrupa's mistake was using the gender lens to show partiality to the babies. Maybe somehow guruji protected one child. We dont know yet. There are many skeltons in Lal Mahal
@Fedex thank you dear. Yes it is not female gender per se, I feel it will be the empire will be managed by feminine aspects of nurture, care, empathy and togetherness. I am so happy people here are so positive towards reference to MB on analysis.

One person who really scares me is Narottam with his emotions/ hatred rippling underneath
He might turn out to be EVIL in it's true sense...so much so that Pujan's wickedness might pale in his comparison...hope I am wrong though , because I wld love to see him bond with Anami.
Loved the way Satrupa held her ground and gave it back to Baldev...loved that she did not beg him ...she tried to explain / reason out with him but when that did not cut ice , she just left it at that instead of begging or imploring ...That was so bang on. Absolutely razor-sharp, precise dialogues...well done CVs . 👏

@Navya yes I was happy Satrupa didnt take the insult sitting and gave back to Baldev in nice language. It was really good when she told I dont want to explain about the legitimacy of our daughter
