Vikram suddenly looks creepy right? Perhaps he thought he could steal SSO's wife away. Here Annika was telling him she is going to stop the farce, just as Shivaay ended his side with Ragini last night. She returned his ring, said in no clearer words, There can be no one but Shivaay for me.
This argument has always been between them from the start. Gauri told Vikram clearly, these two are having a private battle and they'll drive you nuts if you stand in between. So stay out of their way. Now see two nuts forming in between, Ragini and Vikram...😕.
Suddenly the bloke is towering over her and being menacing. I hope she listens to that psycho alert creeps she got there.
Looking at the way it happened, Shivaay had just discovered the truth and was marching out to the mehndi rasm when he found Annika. Again, she asks softly, Is this all necessary? Do I still have to say I don't want all this?
The turmoil on his face was very obvious. SO many things had slipped his attention and focus, and again he has not trusted her words. If she had succumbed and relented he would have swept her off her feet right then. Such impatient helpless need for each other.
He touched her so gently, that favourite spot behind her ear as he cups her cheek, when he wants to say something sweet to her. He had a lot to say, stuck without words in his mouth, when she whispers his name. As usual Pinky interrupts , and he transforms into Man on a mission. The flip was unnerving and she was stunned.
Annika stood uncertainly with Gauri, with no plan whatsoever to stop this extremely stressful wedding week.
Then the man walks out with his usual thunder , SSO style, marched out and set the stage for the dramatics. He takes Ragini by the hand, gives her the spot of honour, center of attention, Hotseat so to speak.
Inviting Annika to come too, she is seated like a honored guest to watch the cruel exposure of Ragini's lies. She watches him carefully, he looks angry and his mannerism tightly controlled. Everyone else thinks he's gone mad.
Mehndi is started off, Shivaay insists to write on Ragini's hand. Annika watches with her heart in her eyes sadly. She is weakening in her resolve, giving up. He makes a big show of writing a pointed S on Ragini's palm, but he calls out silently to Annika to trust him. He could see her hurting but Shark Singh Oberoi is in the middle of a mission.

Then came Annika's time in the spotlight, place of honour.
"She came back into our lives, and I dunno how, but she knew you were up to no good. She told me again and again, but I am Shivaay ! Again I didn't listen to Annika ! I didn't believe her..."
"Today , I realized she was right. Annika was right. I got all the truth from Bhavya. Everything was an elaborate scheme by YOU yourself !!"
Ragini should have left, but she started pleading, that's when it became cringeworthy. She's evidently not in control of her own obsessions, the doc in me felt like she needed a family member to get her out of there before humiliating herself further. Pleading that she loved Shivaay and would be better if she married him.. was a cringe moment for me.
"Love is not selfish. Love doesn't force itself upon people." To hear this from Shivaay was both touching and hopeful. Does he not realize that this is what Annika is all about...?
Pinky drops Ragini like "hot potatoes". Why doesn't anyone ever take revenge on this woman??😡 Even Vikram pretends indifference, as he removes himself from Ragini's plot and goes solo. EXIT RAGINI.
Shameless Pinky laments that Shivaay is saved yet again. Dadi finally speaks up scolding her for her extremely poor character evaluation. Shivaay listens intently, as PInky misses no beat, insists Annika proceed with her mehndi.
Gauri points out her mehndi has Shivaay's name on it. Pinky goes all berserk and accosts Annika with nasty words: Shameless, stubborn, gold digger, apparently she's out to trap her son again. I won't let you trap my son again ! (Uh oh nervous impending doom vibes for me here..)
All Annika did was turn and look into Shivaay's eyes. This here is the reason I left you Shivaay. I couldn't handle this: your mother. Without your trust I cannot do anything. Even if I tell you the truth, I cannot compete with this.
SO I will walk away from you again, in silence. You chose , what you want to do.
(I was so disheartened that everyone just stood and listened as Pinky ranted at Annika like that. If Rudy was there, he'd have been the first to stand in the middle. Shivaay just stood and watched, Dadi only spoke after Annika left. WHy? Pinky needs respect even after all her poison? Utter BS!)
Shivaay turned away from his mother's ranting, told her to stop. When that failed, he viciously made her stop cursing at Annika and walked off to find Annika. (presuming😆)
Precap: I know it looks like more tadi, but I am pretty sure it's going to turn out pretty emotional. Annika is getting more and more afraid and losing her courage. She is keeping faith in Shivaay, as it is tested, I'm sure SHivaay's will become stronger and he'll come through for her. So let's wait till it airs to comment on what exactly happens 😉
She finally put his name on her hand, and I'm pretty sure he'd love the sight of it, just like he loved seeing his ring on her finger.
But imagine for a minute, this man is furious at being made the fool of, by Ragini and God knows who else. Imagine his impatience for this secret that everyone keeps from him? If I were him, I'd want to know immediately too.
Now that the trust factor in Annika has been refreshed, he'll less likely to disbelieve her if a partial truth comes out.
(I have no idea if the truth will come out, because I have doubts that this "truth" may be a fabrication in the first place. So I don't want ANnika to be the one to tell this truth to him. It's an Oberoi issue, not their marriage issue. But she did leave because of Pinky's blackmailing. My head hurts with the jalebi plot, I'm gonna just sit and watch... because it looks like Vikram just turned baddie and Shivaay is coming to her rescue...!)
