Not Javed Akhtar; Karan Johar to be the first speaker on Shah Rukh Kha

Shah Rukh Khan is all set to make his
television return as he brings the
prestigious TED Talks to India. TED Talks
India: Nayi Soch which will be hosted by SRK
will see some successful personalities from
all walks of life as they give motivational
speeches and talk in detail about their
success story. Shah Rukh himself was a
speaker at a TED Talk session in Vancouver,
Canada.
Speaking of TED Talks India, there were
reports stating that acclaimed writer-lyricist
Javed Akhtar would be the first guest on the
show. Talking about it, a source stated to
the daily, "Javed Saab has already shot for
the episode. The poet and writer-lyricist
who is known for scripting films like Sholay
and Deewar as well as songs like Panchi,
Nadiya, Pavan Ke Jhoke (Border) and Ek
Ladki Ko Dekha Toh (1942 A Love Story)
among others, has spoken about the power
of words."
However, it will not be Javed Akhtar but
Shah Rukh's best friend and celebrated
filmmaker Karan Johar who will be the first
guest on the show. A source in the know
revealed to us, "Karan Johar is the first guest
on TED Talks India: Nayi Soch. Karan will be
shooting for the show today with Shah
Rukh."
Now, this is indeed exciting! Wouldn't you
agree!?
Other celebrities who are reportedly going
to be guest speakers on the show include
music maestro A R Rahman, Indian Women's
Cricket team captain Mithali Raj, Ekta Kapoor,
Rajinikanth amongst others. The show will
air from October post-Diwali on Sundays,
respectively.
