I'm not using chromecast but I bet it would work as it streams from your device (ipad, laptop, pc) and you need to install kodi on your device, be it pc, laptop or something else.

it depends on what you want to watch for e.g. for hollywood movies and shows I've 'covenant and exodus' only had exodus but recently there were some problems with it, streams were still available but hd ones were gone so then I did some research and found another addon called covenant and it has all the hd links.

for live channels I installed zemtv, not really using it but its still there.

for wwe I installed wwe on demand

for hindi movies aftershock and einthusan were good but not really using them these days as I didn't find good links in aftershock and einthusan just updated and you need the latest version of it, so it'll work with the latest version of kodi, not worth the hassle as far I'm concerned because my pc is old and I can't install new version of kodi but if your device is new and you can install latest version of kodi then einthusan should work, you might have to do some digging on it to make it work or maybe not.

but these days I'm using 'world 4u free' for hindi movies, it has all the new movies and some old ones too, all in hd

for tv shows like big boss or other shows from channels, you need 'tv on desizone'

yeah that's about it but these addons are in what they call repos, so one might be available in one repo and other in another. first you need to install the repo (which is easy) it'll contain different addons but then of course you only install and enable the one you want from that repo.

so install kodi, google the addon you want and the instructions to it and then just do it, will take few minutes and then enjoy 😆

I like to listen to neele neele ambar when I am sad and gaana doesn't have it the original one.. so main itne dino se difference version sun rahi huun aur woh baat nayi ban rahi..

@no filter neha - only listened ranbir one and liked it.

I also used to listen to modi's mann ki baat 😆 don't think its on gaana yet.
I guess I just have to start paying $4 something for saavn.. overall it is better fr me.

for one song you need saavn? lol

youtube has it + other sites from where you can download mp3 songs, if you just google it, you'll find it.

there is another app you can download called 'document 5' through that app you can download any video, audio file from web so if you need certain songs and listen to it again and again then you can download them and then don't have to go to youtube again and again.

as far modi's man ki baat is concerned, well gaana also has its own shows which saavn doesn't so there is that. both have original content which is limited to the app but at least gaana doesn't charge you for it.

gaana has those horror stories which I find interesting.

there must be other songs too lol.. it's a famous song, every platform should have it.. and I am not very organized. I am but not as you, I want everything at one place. I lost my playlists fr different moods, now have to create them again on gaana it hurts 😆😆

but thanks fr the info. adventurousman.. will check 'doc. 5' and explore gaana for other stuff as well.. hope it doesn't start charging us in future

shakkarpara: it does have the song but as you said its the remix version, at least they have one version of it 😆 I'm not that into songs these days so gaana is enough for me but maybe others listen to it more and can't find those songs in gaana, hopefully saavn has all the songs. I'd be really pissed if I paid for saavn then searched for a song and didn't find it 😆

yeah just create gaana playlists, how did you lose it?

also have you noticed you can't put more than 200 songs in one playlist? after 200 I tried and it said its done but when I checked the song wasn't there

I meant can't access them now as they are on saavn..

haven't reached 200 yet.. usually I have 6 - 50 songs in one playlist.. 😃
