Shot in the dark: Did this star sabotage his rival's film?

The producers of this star's recent film were in a quandary when their distributor backed out at the last minute. He has handled most of the star's earlier releases. The distributor blamed it on GST (which raised the cost of the film) to asking for a reduced buying fee.

It is said the pressure came from another star, who wanted the film to be postponed for his vested reasons. There was a desperate hunt for another distributor and after several anxious moments, the deal was struck with a new distributor. The makers heaved a sigh of relief, but can't forget the game the rival star played to sabotage their project.
