When we asked Kriti if she ever feels insecure about the comparison with the current crop of actresses, especially Shraddha Kapoor & Alia Bhatt, she explains, "Any actor or actress would always want their films to do a great business at the box-office. We make films for the audience. More box-office numbers mean that greater number of audiences are watching the film. The competition is for the kind of genres you do, the stories you tell. The movies you do should resonate with the audiences.
Kriti, who entered filmdom with Heropanti, has completed three years in the film industry. When asked how does she look back at her journey, the actress says, "It has been a wonderful journey. I never thought I would become an actress. The start has been very beautiful. Working with Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in my very second film (Dilwale) was great. Rohit Shetty is a director I always wanted to work with. It's been a great journey thus far.
Kriti's latest film, Bareilly Ki Barfi co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao, hits screens today.
