Sony to launch KBC' on 28 Aug; Beyhadh' gets extension till Oct Posted on: 12 Aug 2017 08:39 PM TelevisionPost Team MUMBAI: Hindi GEC Sony Entertainment Television (SET) is bringing back the ninth season of the popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati' (KBC) in the month of August itself. KBC 9', which was earlier set for a September launch, will be launched on 28 August. The game show will air every Monday to Friday at 9 pm. SET has planned special curtain-raisers that will take the audience through a nostalgic journey featuring the highlights of the past seasons. Amitabh Bachchan-hosted KBC was supposed to replace the channel's ongoing show Beyhadh', but on popular demand,Beyhadh' has been given an extension until October. The show will be aired in a new time slot at 10 pm, immediately after KBC. The channel will, however, pull plug on another show titled Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi'. The show will air its last episode on 25 August. Since SET is set to launch new shows like Super Dancer 2', Porus', Haasil', Ek Deewana Tha' and Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai', some other existing shows might also go off air. The channel's current 7-pm line-up features Moh Moh Ke Dhage', Peshwa Bajirao', Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman', Beyhadh', Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi' and Crime Patrol Satark'. From 22 August, Vignaharta Ganesh' will be aired in place of Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman', and with Beyhadh' getting an extension, the other shows that might get cancelled are Moh Moh Ke Dhage' and Peshwa Bajirao'. There is, however, no confirmation on that as yet.
