I was speaking for myself. I'd read the reviews for a film (even a film by my fave Aamir) and then if the premise is overall exciting and the reviews and WOM from my friends are good, I'd go catch it. If not, I will wait for some time to watch in on TV if I had wanted to see it before the bad reviews, or download it. For the films I didn't care about in the first place, why would I waste data on it? Restaurant mein bhi aajkal 'send the meal back' options hote hain, just saying.

For me that's just an excuse to not pay for the services one receive because its convenient and nothing else. Its not just u but plenty give this reason to support piracy. Wonder what they will say when someone makes them work for months and then refuse to pay for it citing they didn't like their work that too after benefiting from the work at the same time.

Tumhari baat dekho correct hain. Matlab, in theory, I don't disagree. Kyun ki sirf actors nahi, bahut saare log involved hote hain in the making of a film and it's all their hard work. But I can't be hypocritical and say ke, No I don't support piracy when I often download content without paying. Kehne ko, we support piracy in so many ways. Watching K drama for free without paying, anime, downloading music for free. Ek support karna hain, toh you support all of it. I do go for the films with good reviews but for films with okay/bad reviews I wanted to watch, I'd rather not go to the theatre. We are all hypocritical in this regard I suppose.
