Why is everyone telling Vishu to grow up?

This has been bothering me for a while.

Have I missed something or are TR and his family in denial.

Vishu is clearly disabled and doesn't mentally function like an abled person.

What he seems to need is hospital and medicine and not love (esp. romantic love) to 'heal' him. Why are people waiting for him to grow up as if he's just a 10 year child (mentally seems to be stuck around that range but physically looks 20's).

Frankly speaking he seems to be much mature than TR and much intelligent too.

🤣 🤣

At this point of the story...even a rock can be deemed to be more humane, mature and intelligent than TR.

He is a lost cause 🤪

I too was surprised when I watched the Rakhi scene. and family members praised Vishu coz he grew up. but after he went to Shrishti's office..and TR came and told him to grow up! family behaves with him like a kid . if he does what they want he is a grown up ..if not he needs to grow up. while it is clear that he has a problem. but I won't be surprised if he became a normal guy suddenly!

Isn't Vishu's condition a result of a traumatic event that happened to him in the past that has stunted his growth? I think if he faces up to whatever it is he will become normal. Maybe needs therapy or indeed 'good loving'.

It's clear he is mentally unstable and needs to stop being treated as a grown up or to be expected to act like an abled grown up person.

By all means nothing should be able to 'heal' him but this is a show so one day he'll miracley become 'normal' by the power of Srishti's deep undying love or something like that.

I hate shows glorifying that and treating mental illnesses like that..power of romantic love doesn't 'heal' people.

Whatever it is ...it's fire related...I have always assumed that what happened made him retreat into his childish brain.

It looks severe ptsd coupled with something else tbh.

Realistically the chances of him becoming 'abled' is practically rare but this is a show so a miracle will happen which is an awful thought to put in peoples mind (alot of hindi serials/films do this 🤢 )

For a progressive show, it's treatment of a mental disorder is very awful.

He needs therapy and familial/friendship love but most importantly his family and Srishti need to stop expecting him to act like an adult. He needs to stop being put in adult situations like marriage cos its beyond his capability and understanding (he's mentally a kid, we wouldnt expect kids to fulfil the duties of a marriage or understand it)..and right now Srishti is drifting into peado-romantic behaviour by seeming to be 'falling' for him. Thats why I really want this divorce to happen, I would expect Kanoon ki Devi to fight for his rights.

Also my first post was very ableist.

I have a serious doubt that his condition has something to do with his mom or uncle.
