But I feel it's a vicious cycle...the very fact that people come up with their own twisted justifications for the characters somehow seems to fuel the writers writing that into the show as well making it all the more contrived.

Anyways for now, the one hour drag seems to be doing the show in big time...Merger ke baad se it's more of a steady downward slide than ever...20 mins of Shivika in an epi doesn't automatically translate to quality when the same lines are mindlessly repeated in every scene...quality over quantity is needed IMO.

The only mercy upon us is she didn't give Shivaay the additional line ke agar nahi Toh Pehle uska khoon karoonga phir tumhare like wow

I have been silently viewing the show for the past few weeks and sometimes reading posts. But never felt motivated enough to comment! I was very critical of Shivaay during the forced marriage. But he has come a long way. Yes he still has "Thadi", but the guy has evolved. He even says Tai Tai Phis, Raita Phel Gaya and Tel Lene now! :) The point is, he has adjusted his expectations and compromised with his beliefs! He must be the first Gul male lead who admitted he did something wrong by forcing Annika to marry him. He even said that he was trying to "Fix" all that by proposing to her. It was one of the better moments on IB when he did. I loved that scene but since I knew what was coming I braced myself for Shivaay's heartbreak!

I agree Shivaay deserves the truth! Enough is enough now. It's time to tell the truth and like Om said keeping this from him is not serving Shivaay anymore. He is just hurting himself and Annika more. But sadly the only person who can fix all this is Annika herself. If she tells Shivaay the truth she already told him once, then at least all this insanity will stop.

GulNeet are both smoking something. I don't see the ever elusive "Arc". All I can see is a mess! Two people acting like ego maniacs! But in this case the man who was lied to deserves the truth. Even when Annika was spewing all that venom about his family and Om, she was looking at Shivaay as if to say "please ask me why I am doing this! Please tell me you don't believe me!". Maybe he didn't. But this is SSO's family. He can't and won't ignore a slight to them. That is why Annika chose this method coz she knew it would work. She broke Shivaay's heart!


He already told her the other day, Muje Farak padata Hai Annika. He loves her. Can't she see it? Doesn't she know him yet? She needs to tell him the truth. Then let him confirm what she already knows! SSO is in love with Annika! :) He would never have proposed to her in front of his whole family if he didn't! Hell, that was so romantic. More romantic than "I love you dammit!" Because this was Shivaay minus Thadi wearing his heart on his sleeve! Didn't even expect such maturity from a Gul ML! I always give credit where it is due!

I always loved Nakuul. Always loved Bro Shivaay. But in that moment I respected him too as a man. He tried to put things right. Now it's Annika's turn!

I wonder what Saahil has been told about the status of Shivika relationship 😆
