So much has happened with NaiRan, so much to talk about, I have so many theories and I will talk about all of that in this. But pehle, I think I should talk about today's episode because I loved the NaiRan scenes. No matter what happens, no matter what is around them, NaiRan together are always bliss to watch. Yes they have issues, yes there are difficulties but nothing can keep them apart. Because they simply cannot and will not be without each other. Today's episode and Karan's dialogues were basically about this.
Haan toh, it should be a truth universally acknowledged that Karan Chauhaan cannot stand it when Naina Chauhan is not speaking to him. šIts like his worst nightmare. Remember how flustered he was when she wasn't speaking to him after his whole there is somebody else in my life lie? Tab se it's the same only. I swear, he becomes disoriented and follows Naina around like a lost puppy. Its morning and Naina is not speaking to him. He goes to her, says "Naina in a very loving tone, she gives him no bhav and goes away. He messages her saying "Main toh bas mazak kar raha tha. Phirse sorry bol raha hoon. Please ab toh mujhe ignore mat karo." She looks up and he is literally making puppy eyes at her. But to no avail. This continues during the Deep mahotsav. Naina is preparing for it and Karan comes. He tries to help her but she stops him from doing that. He really can't take it. "Naina I'm sorry. Vo sirf mazak tha. Main tumhe kabhi hurt kar hi nahi sakta. Main bardaasht hi nahi kar sakta ye. Agar mujhe lagta ki tumhe itna bura lagega toh main kabhi nahi karta. Please Naina."
She gets up and goes away to the pool. He follows her. "Naina, tum mujhse gussa ho na? Toh please mujhe danto, par chup mat raho. Baat karo. Pata hai, jab tum mujhse baat karti ho na, toh sab accha lagta hai. Mujhe pata hai, main bohot saari cheezen nahi samajhta, par tum ho na mujhe samjhane ke liye. Tum na, mere kaan kheech lo.." And Naina proceeds to do exactly that. They are so adorable! She then smiles but also apologises herself and says that she shouldn't have got that angry also and that she really has no problem with his friendship with Sawari. "Shayad kuch zada hi haq samajhti hoon main apna tumpe." And Karan really gives her an incredulous look. "Kuch? Naina, Tumhara hi toh Haq hai mujhpe."
All these dialogues really are the base of what NaiRan feel. Its only natural that they will have issues, after all, relationships are not easy and they have just started on a new phase of theirs. And their basic nature in some senses is different, it will lead to complications. I'll talk about that below. But no matter what, they will always find their way back to each other.ā¤ļø
And now, to the issues. Firstly, as of now, I really don't have a that much of problem with whatever Karan is doing for Sawari. The creatives have built a narrative for it I think. He wasn't fond of her in the beginning, he was the one who clearly told her to stay in her limits. But that talk changed it. One thing about that talk was that even though it started with Sawari's drama, her insecurities are not made up. They are real. Infact, I really appreciated Gulki's acting in that. Sawari started with nautanki but when she came to the stuff about what people call her and all, her expressions and tone changed, it was rather straightforward and bitter. I thought it was a good transition. Another thing that is there is that her issues really are similar to what Karan faced, as was made clear by Karan's flashbacks. So in the face of all this, it was only natural that Karan will offer to help. About why is he not observing her suspicipus behavior, he actually hasn't witnessed it as much. He has just seen her being pushy slightly and that is easily attributable to her insecurities, after all Karan did some weird things in pursuance of his as well. Even the whole upcoming thing, where Karan asks Sawari to sit with him, there is a buildup. Its only in response to Pushpa coming and scolding her and implying that she is not worthy to sit there because of her complexion, which is a regular feature for her so its not really suspicious. In such a situation, the right thing to do is what Karan is doing. And he thinks Naina wouldn't mind because she would also think that it is the right thing.
So the next logical question is, why are NaiRan having issues then? Why can't Karan see that Naina is not liking it? The answer to that, is actually twofold. One, on how Karan perceives his feelings and two, the difference in some of their traits. For Karan, Naina is simply everything. He thinks about her always, was talking about her most of the time in that scene with Sawari. What he feels for Naina and what she is to him is so above everybody else that he simply cannot imagine why she would be even slightly uncomfortable. Which is why, he was first amused and later puzzled by her reaction. To him, there is absolutely nothing to be hurt or jealous about. Naina is upset because she has more background information, but to him, its inconceivable.
Secondly, do you remember how in their first meeting for MeghNal date, Karan wanted to just set up a place where they can talk and Naina wanted it to be romantic? And even recenty, when Karan wanted to just have a meal in the kitchen and Naina was ready to jump out of windows as she thought it was a surprise? This is also an issue. Karan really does not bother with little things, even if they go here and there if he thinks the feelings are right. So something like sitting together or not really isn't as much an issue for him. But Naina cares more about this stuff. So it matters.
These are issues they need to talk about. And I think this drama will make them talk about it. Today's spoilers say that both of them have fought and are upset with each other. I'm very glad about that. Fighting will get them out of the limbo they are in. My guess is that Naina will say or do something which Karan wil misunderstand and think that she is doubting him. And he is going to lose it then. As I said, his feelings are so clear to him, he won't be able to take that idea. So basically, Naina is hurt and he will also be hurt. They will fight which I think is good because then they will also sit and resolve it. This entire Sawari drama will I think lead to something. I'm hopeful. As always. š
EDITED TO ADD - Okay I just saw the spoiler and my hunch was right. Karan will think that Naina is doubting him. As I have said, I'm glad. Fight toh zaroori hai boss. š
