In almost every Hindi serial you have the female lead who is perfection personified. Completely Mahan she sacrifices and sacrifices and takes all punishment be it from outsiders or her in laws lying down. Most often her husband can do whatever he wants and punish her however she wants and she will just (grin and) bear it and not fight back. It is so refreshing to find a show where that concept has been thrown out of the window. I love that though her husband is threatening to make her life hell she herself has made a promise to make his not a bed of roses either.

Yes. it is so refreshing and entertaining. why should women sacrifice and cry endlessly. let men suffer a bit !

I'm holding back with my praises this time...this serial in general has loads of flaws but so far it's shown very strong female characters.

I'm gonna wait until Ragini goes through with her promises because I've seen female leads say this before then never carry it through.

So far it's done a decent job tho

what i am afraid of is those hold me - eye lock scenes between male and female leads as obstacles to the revenge/getting back on feet plans. soon accidentally Ragini will keep on tripping and falling in Anurag's arms followed by eye locks and flushed face with an annoying background score! Just like it keeps on happening between srishti and Vishu.

The female lead characters of this show are really appreciable. They both are so strong but also very strong. Their problems and situations are completely different but they are fighting.
