Samrats betrayal is related to the Kashmir conflict, it doesn't come right out and say it, but we can guess. But I think that the way it was presented was an oversimplification of the conflict. There are many faces of the conflict. There aer those Kashmiri's who ouldn't care less about the whole issue, then there are those will die for the conflict. I think the vast majority of Kashmiri's are peace loving, tired people who just want to have peace and stability inthe region and have a guarrantee that them stepping out of the house will not end up killing them.
Also, the Kashmiri problem is a political one, not a military one. I cringe at ultra nationalist views, because they cross a line and become racists. Nationalism, in moderation is good, and perhaps even needed. Ultra nationalism, on the other hand, breeds violence, because it implies a superiority of one nation over other and becomes aggressive. I just hope, for everyone sake, the senseless conflict ends and brings a closure to all those people affected by it. Phew. Samrats betrayal made me think of all this. Who knew. đ
