I would have in fact preferred it if Raj and Preet had only been friends right from the beginning. This was a show about two friends. Why should it have mattered that Preet is a girl? Why can't a guy and a girl be good friends? That would have been something nice to watch.
Sakshi could have been a good character and Raj and Sakshi could have married. Preet could have fallen in love with someone else.
Raj Preet help each other like how they always have.
Preet helps Raj throw Mohini out of the house and Raj helps Manu becoming Preet and helps her get married to the person she loves.
And of course, all the misunderstandings without which a soap cannot run would have been more interesting. Now it has just turned too cliche.

On Indian TV, childhood friends always fall in love. It's inevitable. The only way you can remain platonic with them is if you fall for a different childhood friend. Lol.
In Udaan, Chakor and Vivaan fell for each other and Imli and Suraj fell for each other.
In Devanshi, the main character married her childhood friend.
In Naamkaraan, Ali fell for Avni.
I'm sure there are countless other examples as well.

Sigh! If only someone starts to think out of the box!
Why do we need so many soaps if all of them want to show the same stuff?!

You guys are all blaming rag, but the truth is he is not the only one at fault his mother is part of the reason why he turned out this way. The truth is no woman should stay in an abusive marriage especially when she has kids because children learn from the example they are been given rag watched his father abuse his mother for years why would her be any different from his father I know his mother later left but in my opinion she left her stupid husband a little to late.

You're right. Messed up parents produce messed up children. The worst thing is that Amrit only left Harjeet because he married Mohini. If Raman was never murdered, she would've never left him.
But the one who's at most fault is Harjeet! I can't blame Amrit as much as I can Harjeet - he is the epitome of domestic abuse.

Very true! But then there are cases too when the children realise how much their mothers have suffered and loathe their fathers and don't want to be like them.
And Raj has been brought up by his mother. He should have turned out more mature and understanding. But he actually wants his mother to start living with his father again. Which is stupid. Which shows that he actually has no respect for his mother.

And I like rag 😆 Suits him better!

Raj is a fictional character and sadly, all male leads are abusive when they misunderstand their wives.
Once the MU is cleared, watch how Raj suddenly and completely changes overnight.
I don't think we can attribute his abusive behaviour to his parents when he's going to do a 360 turn after he realises Preet never killed Raman in the first place. His behaviour is down to the CVs, as is everything else. I've stopped taking soaps seriously. I just hope that all the abused wives out there who watch Indian soaps can differentiate between fiction and reality.

Precisely my point.
And that's the reason I have not taken their relationship seriously.
I know that Raj would turn completely around once this MU is sorted.
And who knows, after 3 months, we may want Raj to move on and find someone else 😆

But I still do feel that Raj wanting Amrit to get back to her husband after all the humiliation she suffered, is wrong.
