Films of Khans with Child Artist

The films, which have, one big name, Kkkhaan and another new budding artist. These two movies' stories revolve around two kids...Ishaan Awasthi and Munni..

Darsheel Safari and Harshali Mehta, their names will be uttered simultaneously (probably before) with the Khans whenever there will be a discussion about TZP and BB.

So please let us know your opinions about these two movies.

Maybe we should not always compare the two because both are classic. If you don't want to vote then it's fine. But please comment and let us know your opinion.

Darsheel & Aamir ---Taare Zameen Par

In my opinion TZP was overall a much better movie than Bajrangi Bhaijaan. It had more emotional and meaningful scenes, a better script, a more fresh storyline and it's message left more impact on the viewers. A movie on the issue of Dyslexia was never made in Bollywood before I guess. TZP also touched the issue of education in India and how parents put a lot of pressure on children for studies. The issue was addressed in a more realistic way.

I don't consider Bajrangi Bhaijaan as a masterpiece. Though the movie has a good message to take home but it had some really big gaping plotholes. It's just a good feel-good movie. The first half of the movie was average. The real story started in the second half only when it holded my interest.
But if I have to chose chemistry, then Salman-Harshaali win hands down. I have to give credit to Salman here. He easily forms a good chemistry with Kids in his movies. The scene at the brothel or the climax scene at the Border stayed with me after the movie ended. Though the scenes were cliched and emotionally manipulative as F, it was the chemistry between Salman and Harshaali that made it memorable. That only made me root for them in the whole movie. In the end you don't care if the movie is unrealistic or not. Bajrangi Bhaijaan majorly worked because of the chemistry and performances of Salman, Harshaali and Nawaz.

In TZP we never really saw Darsheel forming a close bond with Aamir like Salman formed with Harshaali in BB.
TZP never really focused on their relationship. It always focused more on Darsheel's character and the movie's social message.
On the other hand, in Bajrangi Bhaijaan Pawan and Munni's relationship was given a proper focus and growth in the entire movie from start to finish. It's only that if their characters had more depth and realism, then they would have turned iconic.

If we talk about acting, TZP was completely a Darsheel show. Aamir completely took the back seat and lets the kid shine in the movie. In Bajrangi Bhaijaan, it was a team effort. Nawaz, Harshaali and surprisingly Salman too acted well in the movie.

So all in all, I connected more with TZP and Ishaan because of more realistic storyline and character. Darsheel's act was better than Harshaali and Pawan-Munni chemistry was better than Ishaan-Nikumbh.

BB more entertaining and immense universal appeal which TZP lacked. TZP had good social message but BB along with sharing global peace making initiative was also extremely entertaining
