Ended in a different note.
Like I don't know what was the ending but I can guess it will the same cliche ending.
Wish Anushka was just SRK's imagination then maybe the second half would be different.But BW writers hates to experiment. -_-

Good ending would have been following

After everything Anushka takes SRK to introduce him to her parents for possible rishta. Her father greets him and invites him inside. He asks about beta what do you do for living type questions (asking for salary as well). Then he goes into hamari ek hi beti hai ...

Enters Anushka's mother with refreshments...she on seeing SRk drops chai and samosa. Chai messes the carpet...samasoa hits her husband..who then catches it and gulps it.

Anushka said..mamma what happened... innocent cute girl is shocked.

Her mother says beta yeh toh mere saath college mein study karta tha...mujh pe bhi line marta tha. yeh toh mera boyfriend hona chahiye...

While all these discussions were going on they turn back to get answers from srk...

there was no one there on seat...a burning cigarette is there on ash tray...SRK has escaped...leaving Anushka depressed..she runs away to nearby tela...(hill) to jump and give her life

as she is on the edge..a hand comes and holds her and stops her from going down the cliff

camera moves to that person ..starting from feet moving upwards..legs..abdomen six packs...and face. anushka smiles and says..whats yr name...person says..hip...movie ends

lol. Not into writing novels..

i might produce a movie...with me and anushka in the lead. srk will be second hero.

story will be a love triangle

i am working on that story

p,s. on second thoughts. add aamir and srk as other heroes and make this a love rectangle

As far as I read the film has a happy end
I don't think a sad ending would have improved the story

I personally don't think that there was anything wrong with the ending, it's just that the ending seemed too bland because there was not much build up, tension prior to the end. Otherwise it was anyways supposed to be a happy ending, no I have no complaints with that, just that the ending didn't feel like an ending.
