So many songs with Gor,i gore, white white face, hum kale hai ko kya hua.
Most of the villains in Bollywood movies would be dark skinned.
Nobody ever gave this actor a positive role.

Most movies make fun of dark people openly.

I think I know where they're coming from. Hollywood has a tendency of whitewashing (literally) characters. For them, a golden-skinned woman is a Caucasian with a tan. An Arabic warrior is a chiseled white man with a tan, or anything American is good/civilized and anything that's not American is bad.

Take an example of the Martian (Ridley Scott/Matt Damon). One of NASA's scientists was named Venkat Kapoor in the book, an Indian. In the movie, they changed it to Vincent Kapoor, with Chiwetel Ejiofor assuming the role. From a pure Indian, the character was modified to an American with Indian and African parents. Why couldn't they have cast an Indian itself? Someone like Irfan Khan would readily do such a role. In fact, he's made a case of doing every shitty role Hollywood offers him, and this one was pretty good. So yeah.

The SJWs' chest-thumping is annoying and their sensitivity almost maddening. At times, it gets to a point of parody, however, when it comes to Hollywood productions, I'm all for this discourse. Apart from African-Americans, every other race/nationality is discriminated against or at least stereotyped.

Bold - Whoa! HW hasn't changed a bit, has it except for the portrayal of blacks?!!

And it's members now accuse others of racism, whoever disagrees with them politically is racist, sexist, homophobic...

I remember how Matt Damon was attacking others during 2008 elections

For years the complaint was that the only glimpse of Indians you can get in a HW movie/TV show
was when the whites hail a cab

I don't know if things have changed recently but HW usually cannot bring itself to show Indians as scientists, computer programmers, doctors which would be a very accurate portrayal esp the Programmer and Doctor part

A disproportionate numbers of doctors and engineers in the US are Indian.

They make fun of Indians with 7-11 jokes... What's so funny or bad about owning a 7-11. Is running a business, small business something to be ashamed of?

Joe Biden was making fun of Indians running 7-11 and Dunkin'Donuts

Those SJWs who had an issue with the whiteness of the film, were actually speaking for a large number of South Asian soldiers, along with other colonial regiments, who are never represented, hence people think it's ridiculous to question the whiteness of the film. In fact, now I see on historical social media sites an attempt to document the ugly, untold truth about the World Wars which Hollywood pretends were solely done with the greatness of America and White Europe. Now, a little more people in the mainstream are aware of how whitewashed and portrayals of WW! and WWII are.

But of course, some people with their racism against Blacks in this forum never fail to surprise me.

Yeah I agree with this. Having not enough people isn't good of a reason but when it comes to pivotal characters white washing them is a big no no. Its usually the case when sometimes its biblical movies like Noah, or Moses, Prince of Persia etc.
