Where to begin? They are not necessary but for some actresses, using their sex appeal is what gives them money. I find that sad as they are actresses, not slab of meat who have to entertain some guys fantasy. 🤢So yeah, don't need them, don't like them, and the dancing is not impressive in my book.

I would rather they didn't have vulgar lyrics. Otherwise, I don't see what the big difference is between an item song and a normal song.

I loathe them is most cases. They further ruin the movies, make no sense and are shot in the same mediocre fashion (low angles, fast cuts and no sense of time and place, horrible choreography, bright lights) and to add to that, the music sucks as well.

It's the vulgar lyrics and the equally vulgar choreography and costumes that annoy me... You can have peppy songs or dance numbers to promote the film... Cheap hone ki kya zaroorat hai?
