It took Menka some time to get Vishwamitra out of the meditation. Once he was out it, it was a whirlwind romance, passionate, intense and long. But it was whirlwind, alright. And it lasted as long as he got to know she was sent by Indra to disturb him. Both went back their ways after that.
So the makers are literally going for this? I thought, since this was Rajshri, they'd find a little less painful path to show this. But going by how the episodes are going it seems they are going to copy it in it's entirety.
Right now, Naren can't see anything but Pooja. Their romance does seem momentary and whirlwind and rushed.
When they laid such a solid foundation for their friendship (which Menka and Vishwamitra never had!) I thought chalo, they are only taking the good things out of V-M story.
I thought Naren's process of falling in love and WHAT he sees love as(different POV from rest of us) and how he will break conventions in what 'idea of love' is, will what form the crux of story. Because both V-M are unusual pair but they did find love...or so they thought.
One can argue it wasn't love at all and vishwamitra was just infatuated and the spell broke eventually. Is this going to be the same case here??? Naren's spell will break eventually?
All this stressing about Pooja being mohini doing magic on guys, specially Naren is kind of hinting towards calling her affections and actions as luring tactics and spells later on.
So what IS this story about? Literally V-M or modern day's Vishwamitra who will re-define what love is by showing it through a spiritual lens??? I am really confused...
