No.

I don't think he is in the race for BO any more. He can do such movies in his sleep and honestly he is going through the motions here IMO.

He is more producer than actor now and he is interested more in Red Chillies as a whole, not his movies only. He is a workaholic and he loves working, but IMO this is a transitional phase and he will eventually figure out what sort of movies he wants to make. He finances his movies so he needs to figure out scripts he likes.

everyone goes through rough time...when he was on top, nobody compared him with others and he is still in top 3... what matter is that he is trying to do different roles.

SRK has been trying different genre to click with the audience now - Dilwale-HNY super commercial stuff, Fan-DZ offbeat movies, Raees his old negative/grey shaded roles.

Nothing's worked for him except CE and Deepika was the showstealer there anyways. But sadly no matter how much he tries, it seems audience got bored of him and his 'intelligent' romantic movies. But I like the fact that he keeps trying to come to the level of competition of his peers (Khans and Akshay) until he succeeds. 🥳

This year, Raees is still top of the charts, right after Bahubali 2 which is not a BW movie btw

No other BW movie has beaten Raees collections yet this year 😆

Raaes also has the highest footfalls after BB2 and that too in a clash

Akshay cannot get the kind of opening days and final collections or footfalls like SRK does.

I don't think that with JHMS, SRK has any intentions to be on top.

JHMS is a light hearted movie, it isn't made to reclaim anything for SRK.

SRK still sells more than new generation actors !! That'w why he is SRK

Wahi toh...this forum lives in an alternate universe where facts and figures are conveniently ignored and people keep on repeating the same old anthem of SRK being done and dusted when BO numbers and footfalls are saying something else 😆

Also Akshay had a string of Flops and Average verdicts before his recent 4 hits
